Bellamy Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 YOUR (CASH-RICH) MAJESTY, WELCOME TO... ROYALTY could not have been better treated. ....................................................................... Welcome to the world of high rollers, where casino operators in Las Vegas and Atlantic City spend millions of dollars each year to make their VIP guests feel like kings. Harrah's Entertainment Inc, the largest casino operator in the US, which is bidding for the Marina Bay Integrated Resort here, is one of them. ....................................................................... There are about 2,000 VIP members on Harrah's 'Seven Star' list. They include tycoons as well as celebrities such as Celine Dion, Elton John, Michael Douglas and Michael Jordan. .......................................................................SUITE THE SIZE OF 17 5-ROOM FLATS ALL 21,000 sq ft of the Neptune suite at Caesars Palace is breathtakingly plush. The size of 17 five-room HDB flats, the suite is saved for only the best. Among those who have stayed there are basketball star Michael Jordan, actor Michael Douglas and pop diva Celine Dion. Ms Deborah Munch, Harrah's public relations vice-president, minced few words when she said: 'The Neptune suite is by invite only. It is never rented out.' Dion and husband-manager Rene Angelil have stayed there the longest - three months - while waiting for their Las Vegas home to be built. The living area is adorned with murals and art pieces, including sculptures from all over the world and is lit by a skylight. The bathroom has gold taps. There are two for every bathtub, all of them built for two. Even the two shower rooms have gold shower heads and floor drain covers. Staff is on hand to provide guests with spa and massage services - special aromatherapy tubs are prepared for this. There's also a cigar room with retractable skylight roofs, a billiard room, a stunning aquarium and a sun deck overlooking the Garden of Gods Roman swimming pool. It is flanked by Roman rotundas, statues and fountains, as well as four thermal pools. There are at least three other bedrooms and one additional living area in the suite for the rest of the family or crew. A separate area at the end of the hallway was designed specially for the pilots and crew of guests, said Ms Munch........................................................................http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/mnt/media/image/launched/2006-03-26/NP_3768702_25_03_2006.jpg http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/mnt/media/image/launched/2006-03-26/NP_3768696_25_03_2006.jpg http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/mnt/media/image/launched/2006-03-26/NP_3768640_25_03_2006.jpg http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/mnt/media/image/launched/2006-03-26/NP_3768627_25_03_2006.jpg Source: http://newpaper.asia1.com.sg/news/story/0,...,104069,00.html HUGE SUITE. When nobody's watching... We might take it home... We might make out... When nobody's there... It's not that we're scared... It's just that it's delicate... We might live like never before... When there's nothing to give... Well how can we ask for more... We might make love in some sacred place... The look on your face is delicate

Bellamy Posted March 27, 2006 Author Posted March 27, 2006 I must agree on "ROYALTY could not have been better treated". Here's another funny part in the article, not related to Celine:Mr Nita also said that Caesars Atlantic City is pumping in another US$15 million to build an Asian-themed gaming room which will be ready in May this year. There's no mahjong though. 'We haven't figured a way for mahjong to be played on the casino floor,' he laughed. fred Posted March 27, 2006 Posted March 27, 2006 huge suite but still that bedroom looks very small, like in a trailer or ship cabin - I mean look at how close the bed is to the closets... That kind of room is only seen in trailers, where normal comfort is squeezed into small space, and in ship cabins where rooms with windows are very attractive and as many rooms as possible are being squeesed on the the walls with windows, leaving narrow rooms where very small space to walk on beside the bed, admit that bed room shown above has a boat feeling. /fred Quote Peace and love to all.
