No, she didn't say that she doesn't want to be friends with me. I am making sure that she still wants to, that's all I am doing.

 

Sometimes people get so wrapped up in their own life that they forget the people around them. I just don't want her to do that.

Hey Dana! Nice to see you on this forum too! I had no idea of your disability... I always had eyes problems! When I was little, my eyes weren't straight, and when this problem was fixed, I started to lose my sight little by little... and I've been wering glasses since I was 4... as I recall.. so I know how you must feel!

Not being able to move around your own house without the glasses... Been there, done that! But I guess that I'm a bit lucky, because my dioptry was -14 almost, and I had a surgery and now my sight is -4! So, I can see quite well!

Isn't it possible for you to have a laser surgery? It made miracles for me...

Alexa: Thanks for coming in and reading my topic. It's always encouraging to know that there are people out there that have a vision problem like me. And no, I can't have laser surgery. I have no clue why, but I can't.

 

Everyone:I am sorry if I have brought any spirits down. I will come on the boards with a more positive attitude from now on. I will try and act like Céline does even on a bad day. Thanks for all the comments on this topic. I feel more at ease knowing that there are people out there that care for their fellow Céline fan. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Je'Taime Encore.

Back to the topic @ hand: I had an eye doctors appointment today and it went rather well. The doc wants to get my records from my old records from my old eye doc so he can make a better judgment of my eyesight. He also wants to get me a much higher prescription pair of glasses. That's all he wants to do. BTW, he wants to see me in 5 months for another checkup.

 

This is what I'm talking about. I beed people to talk about my disability or whatever the topic is. Not trying to be rude or anything. Just a little suggestion, that's all.

I wasn't trying to make up the lyrics to the song LTAL. I was trying to make a point that we don't need to talk about mine and Helen's friendship. We know we are friends and will stay friends as long as we can or until something hinders it. One of the 2.
