Costume and song changes for the 500th show!

There will be costume and song changes for the 500th show on May 7th, 2006 do you think Tout Les Secrets could be a possibility?

Yeeha!!! i'm going to that show- it'll be my first time seeing Celine! Now I'm extra excited!

 

I really hope that they add some more Celine classics and take out the Vegas classics- I like them alot but I'd far rather see her sing her own songs, like TT, The Reason, FIY etc.

 

I hope the costumes are great- scared now!

just read this at www.celine-speedpage.de/csp aswell, I think That's The Way It Is would be perfect as it's a dance song too, as well as beauty and the beast, and they could have characters from the show beauty and the beast dancing on the stage, that would be great.

 

I think All by Myslef would be the highlight but I doubt she will ever perform that song live again.

 

What do you guys think of my choices?

I hear that she is taking out At Last, Fever, IGTWOAS and adding All the Way--the one with Sinatra. And Im not sure which others will be added, yet! I will be out there next week ( YAY! ) If I hear anymore news, I will fill you in!

that will be cool, but i think songs like Falling Into You or Call The Man, or Fly or I am your Angel or other classics would be a better choice. I wonder if she will bring back those giraffes we saw in the oprah special, apparently they are currently not in the show.

what i i would like to say here is that i find it great that A New Day... changes with time. you know, although i was suprised and impressed by what it had to offer, based on what i saw on the OPENING DAY specials on the tube, i also hoped that certain changes would be made, but again, based on personal tastes and likes...

 

i always thought that A NEW DAY HAS COME would be a perfect opening song (rather than NATURE BOY), and they eventually incorporated it into the show, which pleased me (and surely others)...

 

and the same for the hair and costumes; good on her, CELINE, for the new hair, wardrobe, and even singing technique she has given to her show (based on bootlegs i have heard in the past)...

 

and now, knowing that she is making even more changes to the show makes me want to check it out even more, which i definitely must and will do, in a very near future...

 

anyway, my final point is that i think that change is great, even with regards to CELINE's A NEW DAY...; i encourage she and her team to continue striving to rejuvenate and improve the already great theatrical extravaganza that is A NEW DAY...

 

p.s. : if they dropped BECAUSE YOU LOVED ME, i'd be thrilled... or, if they end up keeping it, i would encourage them to change the key of the song so that CELINE can sound that much better (personally, i really resent the way she sings BYLM in vegas, and i don't even see it fitting)...

 

i think what would be nice would be, if anything, a MOVIE MEDLEY, like sing these next songs one after the other:

1) beauty and the beast

2) when i fall in love

3) because you loved me

* acoustic with MEGO on the piano; dancers and sets could emulate scenes from those movies, maybe; well, i know, it's very tacky, but do remember: it's also VEGAS!

 

then, a speech about MHWGO, and how it all came to be (the demo and all)

 

and then, she could sing out a full version of:

4) my heart will go on

The Vegas medley, AA and IW are actually songs that make the whole show worthwhile for me. They're so fresh and mysterious at times, I can't get enough of them and of Céline's enigmatic delivery.

 

And I see some of you arte forgetting the point of this show. It's not a regular Céline concert.

Mmmh.. I didn't think that they will change anything until today because the show doesn't last that long anymore... but I really love the idea

 

But I think (and that's just my opinion) that they will add "Love Is All We Need". We know that they rehearsed it years ago just like "A New Day Has Come" and "Je T'aime Encore" have been rehearsed at the beginning and afterwards they have been added to the show. So why not "Love Is All We Need"?

No!!!! lol They can't take Fever away!!!!!! Fever is amazing!!!!!!! I heard about All the way too, but in the place of If I could. I really don't think they will change that much as the show is almost on its end.

Haha, that costume actually looked cute with a black blouse under (like in the One Heart/Chrysler shoot, when she's inside a car) but with the white blouse makes it looks, bleh! The costume isn't THAT bad in real life, but I still hate it.
