Other forms of music...

I listen to mainly country music. I like Alan Jackson, LeAnn Rimes and many others. What genre of music do you listen to and what are some artists and bands from that genre, besides Pop music?

I really can't choose just one genre. I listen almost all the genres you posted + metal, heavy metal, blues, classical...I love music!!

 

so everything from Korn to Jessica Simpson, from Beethoven to XZibit, from Metallica to Roch Voisine...I love!!

The other genre I listen to most is Cape Breton Traditional fiddle music, and just fiddle music in general...since I play the stuff (or did until about two months ago. Life sucks.

 

Anyway, I mainly listen to Natalie MacMaster and Leahy, but if you're interested in hearing some of it, 1Celine12, there is an Internet radio show called Cape Breton Live that showcases the music with a show every Sunday. Some shows are good and some are horrible, but that's the way it is with musicians, eh?

 

Celine is actually really the only 'singer' I listen to. I much prefer instrumental music such as that listed above and Movie Score soundtracks and classical etc. It gets inside me more, emotionally. I get tired of hearing the same voice over and over VERY quickly and there are many I simply can't stand. I'm picky about voices I guess.

I really listen to a lot of music. I couldn't narrow it down to one genre.

Sainkho....I've heard a song of hers before...it was interesting.
