This is going to be a holiday of a lifetime! We have booked a package holiday which includes 5 days in Vegas, 2 days in Houston and a 6 day cruise of the Caribean!!!! The best part is that on the second night in Vegas we have tickets booked to see Celine!!! We booked the tickets separately of course, and didn't get the best seats ever, but I'm sure it will still be amazing! The seats are Orch 3, row D, seats 306-305! I wouldn't care if I was at the top block right at the back in the corner, I'm gonna be there and I can't wait! We have the holiday booked for the last week in march and the first week in April. Does anyone know what the weather is like for that time of year? Not that it matters, it has to be better than freezing, miserable England! lol! Oh and does anyone know if it's possible to get a gift to Celine before the show, I have a little frog I would love to give to her, but I don't know how likely this would be? Celine is so close you can almost smell her. I don't know about the weather, I was there in January and it was kinda hot. The previous week they had snow and the week I was there it was all sunny and beautiful. The problem is that I has packed the warm clothes and I had to buy T-shirts when I was there because it was really way to hot. For sure it will feel very dry. Do not forget lip balm and something for your skin and hair. Have the greatest time in Vegas, you'll love it. To all you guys who feel as if you may never get the chance to go on expensive vacations and amazing places, I would say, keep on dreaming and working hard! This time 10 years ago, I could never have imagined being able to do this, we barely had enough money to buy the weekly groceries (sometimes not enough for a single meal!). But we have worked very hard, struggled to get financially secure, and though we are far from rich, all the hard work is paying off! As a teenager I never had these opportunities, coming from a poor family, in my twenties I was making my first home, had my first job and barely got by, but since turning 30 things have started to get very exciting! It's been a fairly long road, but we're getting there! To be honest with you, we have been a bit wreckless and got a loan to help pay for this holiday, but I appreciate that to see Celine's show in vegas is a once in a lifetime opportunity, so I don't mind pushing the boat out a bit! I went holiday clothes shopping today, so it's starting to feel a bit more "real" now, though I still can't really believe it! I bought two bikinis, so I'd better see some sun! lol! We also bought a very small digital camera, it fits into a cigarette packet, so we think we may have a chance of sneaking it into the colleseum, it's certainly worth a try! If anyone had told me a few years before that I was going to Vegas I would have never believe because we had nothing really. I worked very hard and so many hours to get to do this Vegas dream. But I believe that when you work hard for it it feels so much better to have it. I would not enjoy the same way I did if it was just given to me. I didn't think about leaving the frog I had for Céline at the box office (great idea Mozinha)! Lisa, I am SO excited for you! You have great seats too! I have been in that section as well. I don't think there's a bad seat in the place. Not only is Céline amazing, but Dragone has made the ENTIRE show spectacular! I recommend arriving at the Colosseum when the doors open (you can call the box office to get the time). Where you will be sitting, you will be able to see Céline's brother, Michel, at the control boards (or whatever their called) directly behind Orch 4 Level Front section. You probably have seen him before, but he has long silver hair that he wears in a ponytail. I had fun watching him and the others in that area before the show started. Heck, if you're brave enough, go introduce yourself to Michel! We definitely want to hear all you have to say when you return. Have a safe trip!JJ Quote
