Céline's Blues Posted February 27, 2006 at 06:56 PM Posted February 27, 2006 at 06:56 PM A complicated matter and I find it always funny how other mothers in the article decide for Céline what she should do! LOL I *hate* tabloids. On the other hand of course there are always two sides of the medal. Always. Céline isn't perfect by all means. Rene ain't either. Their concern for RC is appreciated but I always find a healthy balance of things being almost always the best solution. Quote http://i.imgur.com/dmreJ.jpg

Dancer Posted February 27, 2006 at 07:28 PM Posted February 27, 2006 at 07:28 PM (edited) I think Celine does her best for RC and tries to be as normal as possible He is in a very privilaged position though so his life is bound to be a bit different. tativale Posted February 27, 2006 at 07:53 PM Posted February 27, 2006 at 07:53 PM The place for those stuffs is at the garbage!!!! lol Totally trash!!!! I don't like when people give many "opinions" on somebody's life. Hello.... It's not from anybody business!!!! Usually, people who act like that are jealous -- so to sya the least...lol --- Anyway..... I don't think anyone has the right to say this or that to a parent; although we're very closer to the person and say it in a different and delicate way. It's hard of course to raise a child in this world - on that position of RC - being surrounded by all that "fancy wolrd" ---- it's a tough job - and I think Celine & Rene are doing it very nice! AllCeline Posted February 27, 2006 at 09:04 PM Posted February 27, 2006 at 09:04 PM Tabloids and magazines always say stupid stuff You've just gotta do what Celine does: pay no attention to it. Celine and Rene are great parents and it's like David Foster said, all the things that are good are always gonna be bashed. It's just a story someone wrote out of ignorance. It's really pathedic, and reflects badly on the writer, not Celine. It show he doesn't know what good literature is and let's face the facts: we all know RC is happy, loved, and cared for by MANY! Not just Celine and Rene, but by us as well. Pay no attention to it Sadly, some people are just plain STUPID. I hate them Céline always said she was an open book,so of course the tabloids are going to find vulnerable areas of her life.Typically, I am not in favor of home schooling, but there are extentuating circumstances. Céline and René decision is their business, right or wrong. He probably has some exposure to other children, but not like the typical kid.Once the family moves to Florida, I would imagine he will attend a very exclusive private school and he will do just fine. Mozinha Posted February 28, 2006 at 09:12 PM Posted February 28, 2006 at 09:12 PM I have an opinion on homeschooling, I do have an opinion on a lot of things about education and children. I'm going to teach kids for the first time this year and I'm very excited. All this studying in college is worth something. But then again, who I am to come and judge anyone for raising their children? No matter if they're famous, not famous, your neighbour or Celine, it's not your business, you don't have to give any opinions at all, unless the parents asked, of course. Of course if a child is being abused and such things it's your duty to do something. But otherwise, it's just none of your business. I learn this in college everyday: do not interfere, it's none of your business, it doesn't have to be your way but the parent's way. So I believe judging Celine or any other parent for the education they give to their children is UNACCEPTABLE. Salla Posted February 28, 2006 at 11:30 PM Posted February 28, 2006 at 11:30 PM Raising children is such a personal thing in the end. You do it with your personality, and by mirroring your own parents' raising methods. René-Charles might not spend as much time with other kids as a child his age normally would, but he has a lot of adoring adults around him. Besides there probably is like 50 kids in the Dion family, that he sees regularly, so it's not like he never sees other kids. But yeah, in some point it's important for a kid to be able to interact with other kids just to learn basic social skills etc. I'm sure everyone has an opinion about home schooling. And yeah, to me too, at first it sounds suspicious(for the lack of a better word.lol), but it's only because our minds have been set to think, that going to school outside your home is the only acceptable way. There are good and bad sides in both ways of education as is in everything else. It's the child that counts and I'm sure, that Céline and René know what's best for their own child. We all can have an opinion, but we should never assume things based on a few things, that have been said in an interview. We don't live with the family and as much as we think we know about them, we really don't have a clue. Neither do the tabloids. And no, I'm not saying that omg, Céline is like the most greatest mother out there and she never makes mistakes, no. Nobody's prefect, not even Céline. Sowwy, that was the future child care worker side of me taking over. Quote
Clari Posted March 1, 2006 at 12:58 AM Posted March 1, 2006 at 12:58 AM If RC wants to go to a regular school with kids, I'm sure he'll let Celine know that and they can decide what's best for RC. okay now dont get me wrong I dont like homeschooling but I do think Celine and Rene shelter Rene Charles alittle much,he needs to interact with other kids, but didnt he go to a day school or something?I remeber reading that he went and told the kids at his school he went to nascar and saw Tony Stewart.....<{POST_SNAPBACK}>You read it wrong.
