Celine's Wife Posted February 4, 2006 at 09:37 AM Posted February 4, 2006 at 09:37 AM Thanks! Quote Beautiful Sin - My Elizabeth Perkins Website! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v510/cathydion2/cdfsig.jpg We might kiss when we are alone... When nobody's watching... We might take it home... We might make out... When nobody's there... It's not that we're scared... It's just that it's delicate... We might live like never before... When there's nothing to give... Well how can we ask for more... We might make love in some sacred place... The look on your face is delicate
Nautanick Posted February 4, 2006 at 03:00 PM Posted February 4, 2006 at 03:00 PM Thanks Seb and Sarah! Though I'd like to know just how the person who taped the opening night managed to avoid the heavy bass and crackling that's been in every bootleg since. If that was out of the picture, I'd think we'd getter a better listen to Celine's vocal condition. Speaking of which, she sounds pretty consistent with the other bootlegs we've heard from this show, which is good. I think it's time to replace WAWW with another song though. Quote
Bellamy Posted February 4, 2006 at 04:13 PM Posted February 4, 2006 at 04:13 PM I've tried to remove a lot heavy bass and cracks already. But that's all I could do. Quote Please support the forum by ordering everything through our special Amazon.com link Click here. Thank you!
ashley43 Posted February 4, 2006 at 07:50 PM Posted February 4, 2006 at 07:50 PM Hey! I was at the January 11th show and I'm so excited to be able to download the audio! I know someone was asking why the audience was laughing during the beginning part of when Celine sang "What a Wonderful World" and she replied "I'm trying" (something along those lines...i need to go back and listen to the audio so I can remember exactly what she said)...but the reason we were all laughing was because before the show began, the camera zooms in and out on certain people in the audience. At first, the camera zoomed in on a few children in the audience and then it focused on a man who was probably in his 40's sitting with his arms crossed and looked like he really didn't want to be there. He looked like he was too "macho" to be seeing Celine [oh please ] Well, this guy really didn't like being on camera in front of the entire audience and the camera kept going back to him and somewhat "taunting" him. It was really funny and we all had a good laugh every time the camera would go back on him. Well, after the little camera "warmup" the saw began and it was amazing by the way The last song that Celine sings is "What a Wonderful World." If any of you have been to her show, you know that during the last song, the camera puts still pictures of various people in the audience on the LED screen behind Celine. The same man that we were all laughing at before the show was put on the screen and we all started laughing. You could tell that Celine was kind of confused by our sudden laughter because she kept looking over her shoulder at the screen behind her while she was singing. That's when she said something like, "Hey, I'm trying." So yea...that's what we were all laughing at....sorry that was so long but I just thought I would let you all know! Ashley Quote

fred Posted February 5, 2006 at 01:27 AM Posted February 5, 2006 at 01:27 AM (edited) Thank you. Wow, people are still doing this... I hope we'll one day have a HQ full concert though... I have heard a bit of Seduces Me, doesn't it seem as if she goes out a bit too strong in the beginning? Has she after performing it 5 times a week for 3 years lost the passion and sould for that song? And that long note in the end of I Surrender, I would love to hear it in clear HQ... And when people were saying the AND... LIL cd was nasal... well I see very little difference now judging by these two performances... Edit: s***, I posted in the wrong thread again... please can someone of you moderators move this to the discussion thread? /fred Edited February 5, 2006 at 01:34 AM by fred Quote Peace and love to all.
Koolan Posted February 5, 2006 at 03:38 AM Posted February 5, 2006 at 03:38 AM Thanks for telling us, Ashley and welcome here Wow, that long note on I Surrender would love to hear it in better quality Quote Please support the forum by ordering through our Amazon.com referral link below. winforlife Posted February 6, 2006 at 03:57 AM Posted February 6, 2006 at 03:57 AM I am happy she kept "Ammore Annacunutto" in her show. It such a pretty song and a nice departure from her usual ballads that we know. Anyone who has seen the show, what happens in the background when she sings Ammore-just curious. ashley43 Posted February 7, 2006 at 03:55 AM Posted February 7, 2006 at 03:55 AM Hey! Eventhough all the backrounds are amazing in the show, the background for "Ammore Annacunutto" is one of my favorites. During the song, the lighting on the stage makes it appear as though it is all cobblestone...it's so cool. And the backdrop looks like a small Italian town with little shops. It's not a "modren" town..it's somewhat older looking, but it's really pretty! Ashley Quote

Nando Férri Posted February 7, 2006 at 11:10 AM Posted February 7, 2006 at 11:10 AM I always loved "Amore Annascunnuto", since the fisrt time I heard that. Her voice is just amazing there, but if I'm not wrong, nowadays she doesn't sing this song on a full version anymore... Quote http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4ejungtQy1r9swpco6_250.gif

poetic Posted February 7, 2006 at 11:27 PM Posted February 7, 2006 at 11:27 PM I am happy she kept "Ammore Annacunutto" in her show. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I feel the same, such a great song. The only thing I don't understand is why the song isn't in the track list of her album A new day.
