Did or does anybody watch 7th Heaven on Mon. Jan. 23,2006?

 

What happened was Ruthie's class had to do a report on a great American hero and this black kid wanted to do his report on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, jr, but the teacher said he couldn't because the student was black and so was Martin Luther King jr. Then Ruthie's friend Martin stepped in and said, "what's more important, Martin Luther King or baseball?" Then the teacher said that the kid Alex could do his report on Martin Luther King, and that the entire class, thanks to Martin had to do a report on the greatest African-American hero.

 

Then Martin's car was painted with the term N***er Lover, because everyone thought that he loved the new kid, Alex. Also, Martin had his car towed for having that racist statement painted on his car. Martin also started a fight in the school parking lot because of what was said. Also the police was involved and Martin said that he would find out who did it. Then as the show was in the last 20 mins or so, then reverand Camden got up in front of the congergation and said "that sometimes we don't listen when er really need to." Then he had Alex come up and explain why he was going to do his report on Martin Luther King, and said that his daddy was there when Martin Luther King gave his "On The Mountain Top" speech and that his grandfather lived in Ner Orleans and was killed because of hurricane Katrina and that was the reason he wanted to talk about the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King,jr.

 

Why do I bring this up? Because this particular episode talks about racisim. I want your comments.
