What would you do if you were Céline's manager?

 

First I would promote her better and let her do what she wanted. Also, I would hear her ideas and take them into consideration. And if she wanted to write her own music I would let her do it. Also, if she wanted to produce her own album, I would see to it that she does. That's what I would do if I was her manager.

nice topic.....I would get her out of Sony......that's one for sure....I would help her to release a great great album and would prepare her gradually for a worldwide tour after Vegas and second child but mostly in places she has never sang before!!!!!!Plus I would bring her more in Europe......not all the time because family really matters to her nut twice a year at least.....

If I were her manager, i would tell her to screw Sony, and do what SHE wants to do, not what her record company wants her to do. I would also tell her to stop worrying about sales, chart positions, and statistics (I don't think she really worries about them much anyway). At this stage of her life and career she no longer has to prove herself, or make a name for herself. She's done it all and she has sung it all. I would tell her to relax, and sing songs and create albums that she enjoys, that come from her heart. I would also have her write her own music, because I'm sure that she would be great with that.

if i were her manager, i'd screw SONYBMG for her. then i would let Celine do whatever she wants.

sony won't be able to promote her as long as she stays in vegas, so you can't blame them for her recent lack of sales. but who cares if you sell 5M copies of an album like mariah (who probably has to pay back a big chunk of her income to her record company for promoting her) when you can make almost 90 million dollars a year from just staying in vegas. making money is more important than buying no. 1 positions on the charts....so her manager is doing a damn good job. i'd do the same thing.
