Celine on two shows lately

The first was "De Quebec A Las Vegas", showing all the Quebecers who are doing shows in Las Vegas (the many Cirque de Soleil productions and A New Day). Now, I don't speak French, but I can tell you that they interviewed Rene, Michel Dion, Mego, her bass player, and her backup singer, and one female dancer from the show (sorry I can't think of the names). They showed Michel playing hockey with fellow Quebecers, and many little clips of Celine performing A New Day (granny hair but clips I'd never seen) and Mego/Michel/the backup singer doing rehearsals on the stage. They showed a party where Mego was doing some crazy old singing and moving his feet around like Acadian musicians do, and Michel is quite a good skater. I'm sorry I can't tell you what was said, but maybe someone here can keep an eye out and catch it, and translate!

 

Second show was E Talk Daily with another Shania vs. Celine moment. They began stating how many millions of albums Celine has sold and that she has the hottest show in Vegas. They said she was open/flauning with her family in the spotlight whereas Shania tries to maintain her son's privacy. They spoke about both of these women's questionable fashion tastes. In the end it was "Sin City Flash" or "Country Canada Class". So...Shania was declared the favourite. But who cares, right? But they said great things about Celine, so that's what counts.

De Quebec A Las Vegas was shown on radio-canada from Montreal. I've gone to the site and don't see it listed for any time soon and a search brings up nothing, but maybe you can contact them if you're interested. Here's the site for the show:

I think JP had capped "De Quebec A Las Vegas" show for us before. We've even shared it before I remember. and the etalk daily show is not special. I think we didn't miss anything new.
