For Me Both Songs Are Great But Mariah's AIWFCIY Is A Little Bit Childish...But I Like It. What Do OYu Think? :xmas_happy: :xmas_biggrin:

I have to admit that I heard Mariah's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" whole today for the first time :blushing: I kinda liked it but "Christmas Eve" is much better :clap: They even play it on German radio stations quite often... :kicking:

Sorry, but what a question! It's a Celine's forum, so, there's a lot of Celine's fans... what choice people here would say? I prefer Celine's voice in any song than Mariah...

lol... i know, i always think it's funny to ask if a Celine fan would prefer a Mariah song over a Celine song, I mean don't get me wrong, I am always curious about ppls opinions, but i think most are gonna say how much they love Celine's "Christmas Eve" song better. But then again...I guess that's y those questions are asked here, it's always nice to know that 99% of everyone is gonna say CELINE!!!

 

And yes I love it!!! I wish they would play it on the radio where I live!

I actually like All I want from Christmas is you. But not the Mariah version. I like the version perfomed by a young girl in the movie Love Actually. I liked the song but I didn't even know it was by Mariah.

 

But anyways, Christmas eve is much better!!!!!!!

Hmmm.... I can't lie to ya. Mariah did a pretty good job it AIWFCIY. But can anyone seriously top Celine? :xmas_mellow: It's pretty self explanitory if you ask me. Plus, I heard Christmas Eve on the radio in JC Penny the other day! :xmas_happy: :xmas_w00t:

I actually dont mind "All I Want For Christmas Is You"...It is a bit childish and the video to the song totally sucks, but it isn't that bad.

 

Of course I am going to choose "Christmas Eve" though. I'd always pick a song of Celine's over Mariah Carey :xmas_rolleyes:

I like both songs. Christmas Eve is one of my favorite Xmas songs ever but All I Want For Christmas Is You is my *favourite* Xmas song... ever. It's a classic.

Mariah's version of O Holy Night makes me want to reach for the nearest PUKE bag! HORRIBLE! Also, everytime I hear AIWFCIY I get JEALOUS and MAD :evil: because I always think it should be Celine's Christmas Eve playing instead. Unfortunately, I've heard Mariah's song much more than Celine's on the radio which really makes me MAD as hell. But it's the season of joy, so I'll end on a lighter note, I bet Celine's album is doing better than Mariah's!!!!! :clap:
