Did You Know...?

As I said before I posted a clip with differences. There are differences if you play them at the same time.. let's say in Adobe Audition.

I'm not lying.. why would I?

But it's not a big deal and most people don't hear anything. But I'm surprised that you don't hear the flute somewhere in: ...shurely glows.. in the hearts of those who knows

And how about "Chatanooga Choochoo" and that other song where she has a long wig in front of a car? They are studio recordings that Celine lipsynched to.. (Incognito leftovers?)

"Papa don't preach" and "Girls just wanna have fun" were also studio recordings she lipsyched to..

None of them are available on lp/mc/cd

Did you know that... on the US Limited Edition of "A New Day Has Come" there's an Extended Version of "The Greatest Rewards", although there's nothing mentioning this on the credits of the album.

I hate to gloat, but I was so proud that I was the first to notice this difference hahaha. I came right to the forum...not sure if it was this one or the previous one, but I was the first to notice and post about it. So many members were saying how they never would have played the CD if they hadn't known about this lol.

I just get in a bad mood learning about these stuff, knowing that I am missing these stuff. But it's very interesting too, indeed.

What exactly were the "political reasons" of Peer's version of IKWLI?? But I guess that takes away the theory that IKWLI was a left over from ATW, since Peer stared to work with Céline in 02 - or was this the first thing he did for her? If so, how tragic it must be to have it redone by another producer. But I don't get it, how can musical arrengements be politically provocative?

I can't see why people criticize Peer's productions, and most of them praises IDAN. It isn't really his productions that are those "bad" ones (LIAWN,Rain Tax) those are produced by others, but he gets the blame... wierd...

What is k7??

When they say political reasons, they mean within the record company, or production team etc. Political just means issues within, not necessarily about government.

Did you know … that the former wife of David Forster, Linda Thompson (born 1950) was not only married to Bruce Jenner (1981-1985), who changed his gender to Catilyn Jenner 2015, but she was also the girlfriend of Elvis Presley (1972-1979). As we all know: René is a fan of Elvis Presley. So I guess, if he might have asked her some questions about "the King". :P

The marriage with David Foster lasted from 1991 til 2005. David wrote "The color of my love" for Linda, before he gave the song to Celine to present her color of her love, René, in 1993. Linda and David had been the "surprise guests" via satellite @ the presentation in Montreal in November 1993 (@ 32:35)

In 2005 Linda, David and the two sons of Linda and Bruce Jenner (Brandon and Sam Brody) appeared in a kind of weird reality show "Princes of Malibu", where Celine had a cameo appearance. The series ended after the sixth episode, as Linda filed for divorce from Foster the day after the show premiered.

I never heard of cassette tapes being called K7 either, until I started collecting them. I wonder where that term (K7) comes from? BTW... Yes, they are still being made.

OK...interesting fact you may not know. Céline sings background vocals on Carole King's version of The Reason on her CD: Love Makes the World.

thanks so much! :)

With all due respect to Carol and her talent, but Celines voice (especially in the second verse where she sings "in the middle of the night") makes Carols recording appear like a demo
