Reminds me of the time I fell from the gym ceiling in 7th grade during a rope-climbing exercise. I was hooked up to some harness system and didn't get hurt (so thank you, gym teachers!) but that was it for me and heights! 1

You can often kill flying bugs with hairspray. At least, I've definitely killed bees with hairspray . . .the stickiness of the hairspray kinda messes up their wings or something so they can't fly, and they fall to the ground, unable to move, where they are easily crushable. Rather disgusting, I know, but effective. I don't use hairspray in my hair, but I always keep a bottle on hand for bee-fighting purposes. The worst for me are sprickets (cave crickets) -- so big and ugly, ,and they jump at you if you get too close. yuck, yuck, yuck!!! 1
