Then, did a little bit of reading some German articles and noting down a lot of words to help my vocabulary. After that, I FaceTimed with my mom for about an hour or so, which I consider a success as she didn't drive me nuts that much today. So pretty much a nice day, I should say! Now I plan on catching up on a couple of series like Arrow, The Originals, Witches of EastEnd etc as I didn't get much time to watch them earlier. How about you? 1

November started, and it's always been "my month" too, since my birthday is on the last day too. And yay we're going to see Céline! There's just a bit of sadness around this time too since it also means I will have to leave Ottawa and Canada in 3 weeks...... I mean it's the perfect size, not too big for me but still there's everything, so it's not too small either, and I absolutely love this kind of sense of "small town" that it seems to have, even though it's the capital. I also love how nature and the urban environment are so nicely joined together here, and I feel like the same goes with the co-existence of English and French, or at least that's the feeling I've got. I think it's a really beautiful city, and a very cosy place to live, and the people here are just... great. Though that goes for Canadian people in general, based on these past 2 months that I've been here. I mean seriously, I've never met such nice and polite people anywhere!!! So yes, I'm really enjoying Ottawa, and would come back here anytime!! Man I'm gonna miss Canada so much.
