DionFanAlways Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:16 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:16 PM However that being said about the kitchen appliance gift; some women enjoy that gift! See, complicated! I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
LuisMa Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:18 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:18 PM Yes, if you keep it simple and, more importantly, honest, you can't go wrong.
Jeff Abbott Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:21 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:21 PM I like shopping for gifts, but I like to make them as personal as I can. Sherri! Glad you're back and feeling better!Luis, it might be difficult for me buy something right when I'm doing it at the last hour (as always) . Besides, I'm not even gonna look for women clothes. God only know what I'd end up with.
DionFanAlways Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:22 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:22 PM Yes, if you keep it simple and, more importantly, honest, you can't go wrong. Yes! Sometimes a nice lunch where you actually talk about memories and whats going on in yalls life. What I mean by actually talking is no phones, ipads and such! I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
DionFanAlways Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:23 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:23 PM Luis, it might be difficult for me buy something right when I'm doing it at the last hour (as always) . Besides, I'm not even gonna look for women clothes. God only know what I'd end up with. Yes clothing is kind of hard to buy! My husband has tried to buy for me and........................ I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.
LuisMa Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:26 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:26 PM Last minute gift shopping can be a hassle, or it can make you grab whatever you see on a bin or shelf. I was actually preparing my box I send my mother every June with her mother's day presents. I like to buy things months in advance so that I am prepared. Everytime I see something I know she will like I buy it if I have the money and keep it. That way, I don't have to spend a lot when time comes, and I don't rush to the shops where I get annoyed by either the lots of people shopping or the indecision. 1
Jeff Abbott Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:27 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:27 PM Yes clothing is kind of hard to buy! My husband has tried to buy for me and........................ Don't know about other guys, but to me it has always been a great challenge. I gave up after some pervious 'peculiar' purchases.

I like to go shopping with my hubby when it comes to clothes, but I also shop for him a lot. Thank God he always likes what I get for him.
DionFanAlways Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:31 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:31 PM Just spend time with her! She'll enjoy it! I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

Jeff Abbott Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:40 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:40 PM Yes! Sometimes a nice lunch where you actually talk about memories and whats going on in yalls life. What I mean by actually talking is no phones, ipads and such! That would be a great gift to have an honest heart-to-heart with them in some nice place. Too bad they'd be able to appreciate it only after some time. 1
Jeff Abbott Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:42 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:42 PM Were you the buyer or the recipient? Let's say I stand no chance of winning "Buyer of the Year" award.
LuisMa Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:44 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:44 PM Let's say I stand no chance of winning "Buyer of the Year" award. Haha Sometimes gifts are hard. In 2009 I decided to make this personalized gift for my mother-in-law, and I went to great lengths and dedication to make something nice, but I might as well have given her a box of candy, cause it wasn't appreciated a lot. 1

LuisMa Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:51 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:51 PM So you won't be receiving "Cook Of The Year" award either, huh?
DionFanAlways Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:54 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:54 PM These would be so delicious (as long as somebody else prepared them). Yes, I understand completely! Jeff Abbott Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:56 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:56 PM Yes, I understand completely! Same here! Let's say that due to my agreeable nature, I'll let someone else have it this year.
LuisMa Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:56 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:56 PM I should be laughing at myself, because I won't be receving that award in a million years. 1
Jeff Abbott Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:57 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 12:57 PM (edited) Were you the buyer or the recipient? Let me tell you Luis that there will be a time for the 'recipient' jokes later in the evening. I had this dream last night and I wished it could last forever. Quite strangely, I had to smoke the very same moment I woke up from it. Edited May 26, 2013 at 01:00 PM by Jeff Abbott

LuisMa Posted May 26, 2013 at 01:08 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 01:08 PM Yeah I know what you mean. Sometimes I get my mother something and then if I see my brother sent her something more expensive or sophisticated, I feel happy for her, and I know she loves us equally, and she appreciates whatever we give her. All she cares in the end is that we are fine, and that's the greatest gift for her and I think for all mothers.
Charlie92 Posted May 26, 2013 at 01:13 PM Posted May 26, 2013 at 01:13 PM Weird waking up without a headache...
