I'm practicing, as I bought some daiquiri mix for tonight, and I haven't drunk in a long time, but today I'm in the mood for a little liquor.

O M G

I'm so in love with the project I'm preparing as final exam for my students. I came up with a thematic and funny concept, and I hope I'll have time to finish it over the weekend. I'll take a picture of it when it's ready and show y'all, so you can tell me what you think. :P

what is it?

It's a language exam, but not really the ordinary English test. I divided the class into two groups, and I'm preparing the questions, but to make it fun, I'm creating some kind of "game" with a cartoonish concept. So, I'm cutting, pasting, coloring, making some boxes...

I hope to get the creative part done today, so tomorrow I'll be writing the questions (they are 400 by the way, so it's gonna be a bit tough).

You'll see! :P

omg this sounds so cool. DO post a picture when it's finished.

on a different note, I need someone practical to keep me out of doing something really... not practical lol

I will!

OMG I hope you can find someone to get the practicality of doing the unpractical. :P

Mysterious :P

I don't mind telling... if you think you're practical enough :P

Well, as you know I luv Ms. Patti Lupon. she has shows in the USA but has a week of shows in London with Seth Rudetsky (who is brilliant). this week falls right in my session. but there is a small window of opportunities. I have Anatomy on the 18th of June and Physiology on the 23rd so I could fly to London on the 19th morning and see the show and fly on the 20th back home. (there is of course also a financial aspect here) and I don't know whether to do it or not..

It doesn't sound bad at all! :spaz:

If you can manage to get the time and money to do it, why not? Then you might regret it. Thankfully, the window is wide enough for you to make it and attend your courses.

Hello all! :)
I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

Adi, you have to think it carefully, then.

Hello, Sherri! How are you?

Hello guys B) What's up? Anyone excited for tomorrow?

So this is my idea. Hope you like it:

I decided to divide my class into two groups and to make it fun, I have based the exam on the Thundercats, so one group will be the reptilians  and another the thundercats. I created these two boxes which I myself made with their respective logos.

The exam will have 200 questions for each group, but they need to choose 100 and answer them in their index cards. I also customized the Index cards with a small printed logo which I stuck to each of them. I will be handwriting each of the questions (so far I have 40, so 360 to go OMG ).

I also prepared a checklist with each team's logo so that they keep it organized. Of course, the exam heading needed to be printed with the Celine Handwriting font.

I'm still thinking about including some mystery envelopes with challenges for each group, so the exam may take a different turn.

What do you think?

Hello :) How was your day?

I applaud your extraordinary creativity (again). :clapping: If only my English teachers were so inventive and eager to introduce new materials, then for me it'd be learning English the easy way. You :punk: my friend.

So far it's been glued, sticky and surrounded by paper and cardboard pieces.

And I have a slight headache, but it's been good.

Thank you! :shy:
