It even seems like it only gets worse ! I don't find them so complicated (well, most of them). If he likes a girl who doesn't like him (and maybe rejected him), his ego is very, very hurt now, believe me. He would do anything to show her what she missed, including going to the prom with another girl (even a girl who he probably doesn't like that much, you should be prepared for this) and pretending to be super happy and doesn't care at all about the girl he actually likes. Most men don't usually express their true feelings, they consider it some kind of a weakness. I call it 'immaturity'. Anyway... My advice is to go to the prom with him if you want to and try to have as much fun as possible there but don't let yourself fall too deep for the guy before you know his true intentions. Don't have great expectations, just go there and live for the moment. Thank you so much for the very nice advice ! I really truly appreciate it ! I used to like him (like, two years ago), we worked things out in May and now, I can't say that I have any feelings for him anymore. I can tell that it just wouldn't work. I finally feel good with the fact that it won't work and that things will be even better when I find the right guy. But, he just woke up, two years later and is starting to find that I'm not that bad after all ! Thanks. I will go to the prom with him, he is still a very good friend.
