I hate most holidays because I can't stand my family & no one ever wants to do something with me...soon enough we will all be playing "These Are Special Times" which, she can think that, but I beg to differ...holidays are nothing but obligations, stuffing aside my own desires/feelings/interests in order to do what Everybody else But Me wants...Sorry that holidays are a frustrating time of the year for you! I just love the overall feel of the holiday season Early winter is my favorite time of year!
Bell Posted November 14, 2012 at 05:22 PM Posted November 14, 2012 at 05:22 PM General strike today in my country, Spain... second one in this year I just heard about it on the news. Situation is bad here, too. Statistics says that in Bulgaria 25% of people under 30 are unemployed and that a person needs at least 250 euros a month to lead a normal life while too many people get up to 200... 16 YEARS A FORUM MEMBER

caitlynceline56 Posted November 15, 2012 at 01:09 AM Posted November 15, 2012 at 01:09 AM (edited) Happy belated forum anniversary, Fernando! Although I love the holidays, I have also been having a hard time with them the past few years. I bet it's because I'm at a "transition" age, but I profoundly miss that childhood magic of Christmas. It doesn't feel the same now. I wish I could be in elementary school again, counting down the days until winter vacation started, having class Christmas parties, playing in the snow, being so excited at the thought of Santa coming that sleep was impossible. I also wish I liked my extended family more and they lived closer, because it gets kind of lonely being just three people at the dinner table every year... I can't shake this headache. I've had it for almost five days now. I have not been feeling well this entire month, it seems. First the thing with my ear and now this. Belle Céline Posted November 15, 2012 at 01:39 AM Posted November 15, 2012 at 01:39 AM Having computer problems, wonderful. The whole thing is going to have to be wiped Friday and I'm going to lose EVERYTHING I have. I have 115 GB's of pictures alone. This sucks. I'm frantically trying to back stuff up just in case I don't already have it saved. Praying this stupid thing doesn't shut down on me in the middle of saving stuff. “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png

Mrs.Goldman Posted November 15, 2012 at 12:16 PM Posted November 15, 2012 at 12:16 PM Zoe, I always prefer Idina and Kristin. on a VERY different note, I am super warried for my country. it's been severely attacked in the last few days on two fronts... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/CallingYou/shadowoflovesig-1.jpg
Mrs.Goldman Posted November 15, 2012 at 12:17 PM Posted November 15, 2012 at 12:17 PM oh, and 3 people got murdered today by the missiles.. it's a tragedy.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/CallingYou/shadowoflovesig-1.jpg

I can relate about your nostalgia towards the holidays. So I can tell we've got some "Wicked" fans here, I'm with Adi, India & Kristin all the way. I'm not really a big fan, but one of my other blind friends is.So sorry to hear, Amanda. Computer problems can be almost paralyzing, especially when you only have 1 main computer & that's it.Zoe, did you get my PM reply back? And Fernando...te extrano mi amigo...nunca me voy a cantar a ti otra vez. Mrs.Goldman Posted November 15, 2012 at 04:07 PM Posted November 15, 2012 at 04:07 PM thanks christina, it's getting worse....over 200 missiles just in the last 24 hours and it keeps getting to further areas towards and center of the country and not only the outskirts.BTW, out of curiousity, I can understand how you may have braille writing on your keyboard but how can you read what is written on the net, being blind? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v68/CallingYou/shadowoflovesig-1.jpg
Del Posted November 15, 2012 at 04:30 PM Posted November 15, 2012 at 04:30 PM November 15th is too early to be playing Christmas music in stores. Now I enjoy Christmas music but it was too much for me to handle and I had to walk out of the store. There should be a law, not before December 1st. lol Instagram: @delphis78

sfbaysinger Posted November 15, 2012 at 05:22 PM Posted November 15, 2012 at 05:22 PM What an amazing question, Adi.Where there would be a computer screen/monitor for you, mine has a display where the braille comes out. There are buttons I press that change the lines so I can read the net/emails/documents, etc. My device is called a BrailleNote, it is made by a company called Humanware International www.humanware.com I think that's the website. Anyway, really good question, thank you for asking.Del, amen to that! I remember as a teenager when they started playing Christmas music the day after Thanksgiving & how extreme/soon/early that even felt. Now this? There should indeed be a law, it's sickening. I like Christmas music too, but, in moderation!!!!!! The problem with not only them playing it so early, but also with all the other hype around the season right after Halloween for pity sake, let's not even think about Thanksgiving but just gloss right over it, by the time Christmas actually finally does come, I'm fed up/sick of it/turned off/can't wait for it to be over. They ruin the season/excitement by so much over-stimulation.Anyway, off my soap box now...thanks Del for your feedback about that & great question Adi. Again, my deepest apologies/condolences for the violence in your country."Let there be peace on Earth & let it begin with ME." L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle!

Del Posted November 15, 2012 at 11:36 PM Posted November 15, 2012 at 11:36 PM It's interesting to see how one can go from having a perfectly wonderful day to being beyong livid in about 2 minutes. I am one unhappy camper right about now. Instagram: @delphis78
celine-rc Posted November 16, 2012 at 01:23 AM Posted November 16, 2012 at 01:23 AM (edited) ^I understand that feeling Del. Lots of stuff today. ''Therapie'' actually does sort of help but it hurts too... Am I wrong when I say that a teacher must be comfortable with me when she says F*** like it was something that happened everyday ? Like, we're talking about manicures and it just comes out like that... It was funny, totally fine but still quite surprising...
