I know I've said it before, but this long-distance relationship is taking a toll on me. I know we're great for each other, it's just so hard when we're apart. But I don't want to give up, I'm just having a low moment right now. I'm in a long distance relationship too, and I definitely feel your pain. Some days are great, then there are others that I wish so bad I could spend just 10 minutes with him. But like Dhruv said, it just makes the relationship stronger. I always tell myself that if it is meant to be, we will eventually be together, and we will come out stronger in the end. Awww, thanks so much for your message. I was feeling a bit low today. He's in South Africa, and I'm in France right so it's 8000kms. It's working pretty well most of the time but today, I just felt low. I shouldn't be complaining because we're planning on being reunited at the end of April so it's not that long to go but sometimes the latest steps feel like the longest, the hardest. Oh, yes, I so agree, the magic of Skype! South Africa? Very interesting, where in SA? On another note, why do some dogs throw their water out of their water bowls with their paws? Lilo does that, and she is the first dog I have ever had that does it. I have to refill the bowl like a hundred times, because if I don't the other two won't have water to drink. She puts her front paws in the bowl and splashes untill everything is out. In the end the whole floor and she are soaking wet. I'm mopping the floor and refilling the bowl the whole day. Hope someone can maybe shine some light on this please Darren, I have a highly sensitive skin as well which is why I always use a trimmer and keep a light stubble instead of shaving it all off. Any shaving gel/cream/foam irritates my skin. But then again, there are times when I have to get a clean shave and the best option is the straight razor shave. In experienced hands, it's amazing and gives you the closest shave possible. Ask the barber to pre-condition your skin first, then use a gel if you've got oily or combination skin and prone to outbreaks. Also, tell him not to give you the reverse swipe which they do to give you the closest shave because later on, when the facial hair grows back, it highly irritates the skin and may lead to ingrown hairs. After the shave, do not use an after-shave but instead, moisturize it with an after-shave balm like Vichy Sensi-balm.
