That's cool! I wonder what was said about her in a history book? I've seen her in a few French books too.

They say that Céline became a big international star, alternating the English and the French albums starting in 1990. Nothing really big or exiting but she's still there. There's no picture though. They talk alot about Luc Plamondon so...

The storm doesn't seem like it's going to be that bad. It's raining quite a bit but I'm pretty sure everything will be fine.

Had a late breakfast, just got a shower and now I'm relaxing in bed. Though I should get on my computer and check textbook prices....I don't feel like getting it out.

It's great seeing these two having a good time again and being themselves again. I love that Kristian now has a tattoo on his left arm on the bottom side that says 'Hope'.

Is everyone okay, those affected by the hurricane? Vic, I heard your city specifically mentioned on the news, which was kinda cool but it would be better under nicer/different circumstances, LOL. Leah, are you okay in NC over there? How about our Canadian folks? Has it hit yet? Let us know you're okay.

I can't tell you for the others Christina (it was worse in the US), but in Estrie, things were less bad then we were expecting them to be. It was worse in other parts of the province. Thanks. I saw that you wrote a poem, I'd love to read it!!!

We were hit pretty hard here on our beaches, but looks like Long Island, NY got the brunt of the storm. Nothing more than heavy winds/rain, trees down and power outages around here in the DC area. Lots of debris all over the roads and many roads shut down with trees in the middle of them.

I think last I read the death toll from the entire east coast was 21 people? :down:

I spoke to Vic last night and he said the hurricane passed them, it was just very windy. He aslo mentioned the closed roads and stuff. But he is ok. :wink:

It's going to be an 'it happens' kind of Monday. I can already tell. First the dog got sick in my bed, then I find out I owe Marshall almost a thousand dollars I don't have. Great start and it's only a little past noon.

I'm just thinking, about my relationship with my mom. I love my mom, we have a fantastic relationship. I think a mom, and daughters, relationship is a lot different than a Father/Daughter relationship. Its more complicated. I know, one day a man will come to the door to take me on my first date. My family will be following me, and sitting at a different table spying on me. I know when the man of my dreams comes, and asked me to marry me. I know I will say yes, but a part of me will be scared, happy, excited, and nervous. I know my parents will be sad to see me leave them, and a part of me as well. But I know, "I Have Waited So Long For A Miracle To Come." I know my mom, will be crying the next day cleaning my room, and Vacuuming. I know the first night, of my honeymoon will be a bite weird sleeping next to a man. But I know I have my mom, That I can call anytime I want for marry advice. :thumbsup2:

My teacher is sick and canceled our lesson today, and while I am totally pissed as she forgot and does this to me a lot, her 13-year-old dog Mesa had to be put down this weekend. I never got to meet her but felt like I did. Please light a candle for yet another life lost this weekend, asside from the hurricane. And for a 39-year-old in Oakland, about a half hour from my house, who was killed Right In front of his 6-year-old son!!!! We really need some help down here.

Monday, Monday, Monday what do I gotta do to keep you from doin' this to me? Seriously. This day has sucked. First I find out I owe my university almost a thousand dollars that I don't have, second that means I gotta come up with that money, plus money for books, and money to pay my brother back. Then I miss my first class, then I miss my second class because I forgot we were going off campus to the park and I forgot to get a ride and the prof wouldn't let anyone come back and get me. Grand. FML.

That's so sweet. My mom and I have such a strong relationship too. She's the only one that I KNOW will always be there for me. Today I saw my friend for the last time before she moves, and I got so upset. My mom just held me in her arms and let me cry. Then, to make me feel better, we started planning a trip to see Céline in January!! I just know we'll have a good time, because it's my mom, and she's the best friend I've ever had. :wub:
