That's one really good way to get my attention or to get em to do something for someone, play Celine and I will be there. It's actually really quite sad how well people know me and how quickly they figure that out. That's one time that being really obvious bites me in the you-know-w h e r e as Sophia on Golden Girls said!So my roommie asked me to sing, and I at first kept telling her that she should. Eventually I did, but because it was my first time opening my mouth and trying to sing, I missed the high note in the bridge. I can often make that if I have had practice, but damn I didn't today and I am soooooooooo embarrassed. I am a much better singer than she heard today, and I was shaking like a leaf. This attitude just isn't going to work if I actually want to persue singing in any way!Then we started doing When I Need you and her mom called so we took a break for her to talk to her. This time, I didn't try any of the high stuff I tend to do when I am alone in my room all by myself! I have to get over being so scared for people to hear me, really hear me. Cuzz she asked when she would get to hear me at the top of my lungs, and I jokingly say Never. And today I think I just proves to myself why, and, btw, why I will never sing here, to you guys. I can do so much better than today and feel the urge to redeem myself somehow, to myself and to my roommate.I do find one thing interesting, that during the times I was able to relax and get in to it, my eyes closed like they do when i sing, and I felt back in that place where I go when I sing with celine's music! It was neat to know that I could transcent whoever was there and just be with myself and the music. I want to get better at that! L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! Thankfully, there was no one there, which is a miracle in it self. Plus, many bridges are falling apart, there's cement falling into the fleuve!!! It's ridiculous. People are scared and the goverment isn't doing anything... I made my father cry today with the birthday card I got him.
