Americans are so odd when it comes to listening to concerts. They feel like they have to sing and dance to everything, I prefer the cultures that remain quiet until it's time to applaud. They actually want you to participate, dance, sing, get into it. Contrary to popular belief, I don't go there and wave my arms in the front row for attention from Celine to make me feel better about myself (yes, I actually have been told that is why I go :eyeroll:) That's my natural reaction and they absolutely encourage it. I have been told by many many people that work for her that that is what keeps them going, bc they need that energy, and ESPECIALLY Celine. It's a better show all around when there are fans down front and throughout excited. There are plenty of times to sit and be quiet, but there are some great times where she needs you to dance with her. So don't act a fool but don't you dare hold back either when you go! They can tell when it's from the heart and when you are a true fan. Most ppl just sit and stare and that's just awkward. I prefer getting the most out of my $250. If she didn't like it, she wouldn't encourage it and respond. As just a side note, I am really so over all the fan drama. It's absolutely ridiculous. There shouldn't be this divide and competition and yes, jealousy amongst fans. I understand that when you have a common idol, there will be issues, but there should also be unity because we should be so proud to have other ppl who understand our passion. I understand people laugh at me here and say I live in a fantasy world of rainbows and butterflies. That's why I don't post very often anymore. But you know, I take that as a compliment. It means you can see me for who I really am. And that's always been who I am. I learned it from Celine when I was 7. That's how Oprah lives her life. Ever heard of her? She's doing pretty well. All it neede was the twisting of one tiny little knob. Amazing how easily things can get screwed up with the simplest twist of a little button.I might get to sing with my duo partner Wed. but considering what a flake she is, I doubt it. I'm not getting excited or holding my breath. It used to be that she was the only time/way I'd sing, and so in a way I would rely on her for my ability to sing and connection to music and, in a way, this woman was my link/connection to Celine since she got me on to her.Now that I sing with celine and also accompany myself on the piano, I am stronger in my voice and do not rely on this person anymore. She is Not my voice, we each have our own instruments and she is not responsible for and cannot use mine, just as i cannot control hers. In addition, as my fandom of Celine grows and I find friends and support and commonality here, I no longer rely on this girl as my source of other things, fun, connnection to her. I was using her kinda as an intermediary, a bridge, a go-between. I can now sing along with her or anything else anytime I want, and so knowing that takes the usual bitter sting of disappointment out of this. I know if I want to, regardless of this girl, I will sing because my music, my voice, is not dependant on her and is not transient.I know that sounded lame...but I know I take the cake for lamest Celine fan!
