riobeard11 Posted April 12, 2011 at 03:44 AM Posted April 12, 2011 at 03:44 AM I'm a total fan of turbulence and never get nervous flying since I fly a lot...but when we were making our final descent into BWI this evening through a severe thunderstorm and dropped 5,000 feet and then turned and the plane was smacked with crazy wind and even the flight crew screamed I WAS SCARED! But I'm home safely and had a great weekend!

I think we won't be moving to Vegas (for now) and that I need to back off on Céline fun and focus on my husband and family, even though it will mean depression, maybe I can regain some happiness there that I used to have. Have to decide today and commit to the decision. I can say that I am discouraged with dreams. It's obviously not the right timing, and that won't change no matter how badly you want it or work towards it. On a side note I have been thoroughly pissed off bc it seems like to meet Céline you have to be a celebrity and that no one cares if you're a fan on her team really. It seems that way. I have seen and heard of all kinds of celebrities meeting Céline before her shows but have we even heard of ONE fan having a meet n greet? NOOOO. I'm not thinking of myself. We had SO many fans there in March. It's discouraging knowing that that's what's happening. I think I have put too much faith hope love in Céline. I need to come back down to earth unfortunately. Should I really move there and go whenever I like and look like a crazy person to Céline and then never ever have a dream come true or just stay here and remember my paradise under the sun? I'm afraid if I move there, it will ruin the amazing memories I have. Reality is harsh. My fantasy and memories are amazing. But I am so depressed here!I'm here if you need me! You finally got invited to Oprah, where she gave you free tickets & hotel. Then you go to Vegas and meet Rene and give him your scrapbook! And let's not forget how many times you've already seen the show, even from the front row -- and yes, Celine held YOUR hand on YOUR birthday! Ok... so you didn't meet her face to face YET, but those are experiences a Celine fan would do pretty much anything for, never forget that! I do agree though, the politics of Vegas are frustrating. Vegas is all about money… if you don’t have it, you have to be really lucky to make up for it. It’s not fair, but that’s how it works. I know you’ll meet Celine one day, I know it. Don’t lose faith, it’ll happen when it’s meant to and you’ll realize why it was worth the wait - why it happened when it did and not before. Trust me!

Okay, that didn't bother me so much since I am up anyway at that point, but they are STILL GOING. Apparently they will be doing this all summer.
