What are your plans in Vegas, Stijn? I'm just doing one day cause my time is limited and the rest will be in Vegas til I fly back home for GAGA.

 

My plans in Vegas? I'm not sure yet. Ofcourse I'll attend the meeting since I'm one of the organizors, I'll go to the premiere, hang out after the show with the group and probably some other activities with the group the day after. But for the rest I just don't know yet. Since I'm travelling with my uncle who isn't a fan at all we'll going to see some things. Probably Death Valley, the Grand Canyon, some local firestations to see their equipment, maybe gamble a bit, etc...

 

I haven't made a fixed schedule, I even haven't booked my hotels yet except one when I land in Vegas and the Hilton in Los Angeles...

Finally had to call in my Swedish-esque Nevada colleague for a support issue and his voice, oh my god. I'm alive indeed. Working overnight for the next 3 nights. I hope it goes well.

One of our companies is located in Reno and that's where he works. He has his pic up as his avy in chat and he is very nice looking. I asked him if he was Swedish cause his name was Krystian but he's not. His mom just wanted to be creative with the spelling lol. But tonight I actually call him cause it was 'after' hours.

 

Remind me why I volunteered to work overnight for 3 nights?? I swear one of the large monitors seemed like it was in 3D earlier haha //Crazy and Tired in Omaha.

So you need to find a bigger dog than yours that is also called Roxy and is in need of a new collar. Good luck. But i guess theres one out there somewhere. That's a bit of a racket though that you can't just send back the collar for a different size. Not fair.

lol @CelineAndRene those are different parts of the lyrics from the song 'Bad Girls Lament' by 'The Jennifer Nettles Band' she was in the band back in 1999 to 2002/2003 before Sugarland formed in 2003. It's a song called 'Bad Girls Lament.' Her early stuff is not bad but I prefer her with Sugarland.

I knew she was in a band before, but never paid attention to them. I think I prefer her with Sugarland as well.

She was also in Soul Miner's Daughter while she was in college in GA. I listen to some their songs too, she was good in all three bands

 

Nettles attended Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia where she studied Sociology and Anthropology. While a student there, Nettles and Cory Jones (who at the time was studying classical guitar at the University of Georgia) formed the group Soul Miner’s Daughter. Performing as both an acoustic duo and with a band, they released two albums: The Sacred and Profane in 1996 and Hallelujah in 1998, both of which were composed of songs written collaboratively by Jones and Nettles.

 

In 1999, she formed the Jennifer Nettles Band, with whom she released three studio albums and two live albums. The band, who in addition to Nettles included Brad Sikes (drums), Scott Nicholson (piano), Wesley Lupold (bass), and Mike Cebulski (percussion), was selected the grand prize winner from more than 2000 bands in "The Big Deal $100,000 Music Search" presented by Mars Music and was invited to perform at Lilith Fair in 1999.

Aah, I see. Well get the smaller one, switch tags and sell the other one. Since it's brand new and you (ought to) have the receipt, box etc you should be able to get quite a lot back...
