It is actually pretty, but I've never seen a flower like that before. weird? that's just a Bromelia kind! your ordinary houseplant! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bromeliaceae It definitely belongs to Bromeliaceae family and Tillandsia genus. Propably Tillandsia cyanea.I used to have Tillandsia aeranthoses but those weren't long living because humidity was too low during winter inside.

Celinechick Posted August 6, 2010 at 11:40 PM Posted August 6, 2010 at 11:40 PM I'm so exhausted from my vacation I'm so glad to be home and can't wait to go to sleep so excited to sleep in my own bed and not have the covers yanked off me by my friend and be kept up half the night by my other friends snoring the trip was a lot of fun other than not getting to ride much at Dollywood and not really getting to eat where I wanted. Oh well it was a good trip for the most part I went to the Titanic museum and bought a beautiful shirt, felt 28 degree water, touched an "ice berg" and saw parts from the actual Titanic. Either way I hope things can get nice and calmed back down. I can and will say I'll miss the good and fun things he did and said but he had a tendancy[sp] to be rather explosive sometimes and that can get you into mess if you don't check it.
