so glad to be home where I have tv and internet and my own bed. Vacationing at a cabin with basically nothing other than running water and electricity is NOT fun. I do NOT want to go do that again.

So I was talking to my grandma today, and she has the international dish thing at her house (like every Armenian ) and on the Persian TV, one of the channels always shows music videos, and they show Celine a lot and my grandma said "They were showing a video of Celine Dion and she sings so beautifully!" I was excited to hear that she finally came to that realization after living at my house for 10 years before finally moving to California! She even shared a room with me!!! I could suggest you a couple of nice hotels where I've stayed, which were quite cheap too! But none of them had a view of the Eiffel tower though, but they are nicely situated anyway! Though I don't know whether you are looking for a little more "luxury" hotels? Anyway, last summer I spent a night in the "Central Hotel Paris" (Central Hotel Paris) in June, which was right next to the Montparnasse tower and I liked it a lot. Then in August I stayed a night in "Mary's Hotel" (Mary's Hotel), which was on the other side of the river if I remember correctly... I really liked both of them, they were cheap, cosy, peaceful, the surroundings were nice and pretty and the staff there was nice and helpful. I'm not sure about the room sizes they have, I of course stayed in the smallest room they had as I was alone and in a need of a room only for a night.

You could check the site www.hostelworld.com too, I think it's pretty awesome, that's where I've found a hotel for myself at least 5 times! 4 of them in Paris and one in Brussels, and all of them turned out pretty good.
