I've fallen in love with Celine all over again after watching CTTEOTW

 

I LOVE how full her hair is at the start of the tour, Dubai.... it's so full and lush! What happened to it after that?!

 

I LOVED her singing Ticket to ride at the sound check in Manchester Sooo amazing

 

What's RC's obsession with Pizza Express??!! Give me a Dominos any day!!

I could go on and on about her in this film lol

 

So yeah, basically loved it. Apart from the performances in between that were just copied from the concert DVD

Ok, I still live with my parents (yeah I know) and I am planning on getting my own place after my Las Vegas trip next year.

 

But now I'm home alone and it's soooooo lonely. I mean I like doing what I want without anyone asking me to do this and that.. but it's still lonely.

I can't even bother to cook anything. I think I'll go and buy something to eat at fast food place (ALL stores are closed today, Christan holiday).

 

I can't imagine living in my own place, being alone most of the time. Am I being nuts? Is it something you get used to?

 

It is something you will get used to!! Before I moved out, almost 6 years ago, I was a little afraid of living alone, for one thing I was sure I could never watch anything scary in television or anything like that. I still remember the first night alone in my first own (rent) apartment, it felt so exciting but also fun. For me my moving out happened kinda in a phase when I felt a little depressed about something, so in the first fall I remember feeling very lonely, living alone... But you do get used to it! Nowadays I'm very happy living alone. To give you some tips, you know it won't feel so lonely with the tv on, or when you're listening to music (I listen to music almost constantly!), hanging out here on the forum etc. And of course doing loots of stuff outside your apartment! Also I think what matters is where your place is situated.. my current apartment is right in the center of the town so I feel I'm surrounded by people all the time, and hardly ever feel alone. So, good luck, I'm sure you will do just fine moving out!!

Yeah I think I'll get used to it. I actually can't wait but this is the only thing I'm not looking forward to. But it will be ok

 

I went to make me something to eat but intead a made and cooked a chocolate pudding for tomorrow I still need to eat something now.

Guess it will be grilled ham and cheese sandwich, if I can find some bread

yeah that's a big missed opportunity! they should have edited them just like they did with PQTME, clips from all over the world! Oh well... maybe the Collectors Edition 2020

Totally!! Yeah, they should have done that, or just kept the film as a documentary, with no footage of the concert (or very little) ... literally just her life off the stage. Think of all the things we didn't get to see, that they missed out! ............But then I guess not everyone will buy the film AND the concert, maybe that's why they did it. Or it could be that they were just lazy!!

 

 

It was just so random....

 

 

I don't want to be too negative about it cos I do love it, except for that!!

I live at home as well, I'm 23 almost 24 and I live with my dad. My mom passed away when I was in high school and I've lived with my dad since then I was in 10th grade at the time so I as around 15/16 years old and it took awhile to get used to it just being him and I but we adjusted and when he went to FL for three days to visit a friend(something he's NEVER done before) I was alone those three days basically even though my brother lives next door. I asked my best friend to come over and stay and she said no. I don't remember why, she wanted me to come over instead. I couldn't do that though I had animals in my house to take care of and someone needed to be here to watch the house right. So the first night I was asolutely terrified of staying alone. My brothers dog was here and he has this thing where he likes to flop down in the floor and scratch his back well it was probably two/three in the morning I was still up watching TV I think or on the computer and I hear this noise from the other side of the house, this banging and I freak out. I start shaking and I was ready to cry, I walk out of my room peek into the kitchen to see if I can see anything and in the living room is my brothers dog and he was banging up against the couch making it rock and hit the wall where he was trying to scratch his back. The couch was one that rocked and was to close to the wall, hence the noise. I just about called my aunt screaming that someone was in the house before I figured out what the noise was. I'm going to be just awful living on my own once I get some money and can afford to move out. I'm a chicken.

 

I'm sure once I do get my own place and have to deal with living on my own unless I end up sharing an apartment with a friend, I'll get used to living alone.

My favourite soundcheck was the one where she sang "Your Song" though. Perfect for her voice

Yes. You get used to it, but to tell you the truth I prefer living with a roomate. I moved to a new city and lived by myself in an apartment since last September, when I got home there was nobody there to have dinner with, nobody to talk to, i started talking to the insects or just myself TV, phone and internet do help, but it's never the same as having someone -that you get along with- there at the end of the day to chat for a bit. I also try not to stay home all the time. You'll be fine I'm sure. There are many advantages to becoming independent and living alone.
