Favourite Album of all time

INCOGNITO is NOT Celine's first album!

Please people, go check out "La voix du bon Dieu", "Tellement j'ai d'amour...", "Les chemins de ma maison", the 2 albums de Noel, "Mélanie", "C'est pour toi", "En concert", and the compilations from those times, too "Les oiseaux du bonheur", "Du soleil au coeur", "Les plus grands sucees", and "Les chansons en or"!!!!

 

But of those that you listed, I really love "DION CHANTE PLAMONDON." The songs are from a different time, nothing like "Le monde est stone", "Piaf chanterait du rock", and "Quelqu'un que j'aime...".

OMG...this is so hard...i voted for d'eux which is one of my favorites,but i love them all..my english favorite is a new day has come definitely..i dont know...it's hard..

This is generally how I rank my favourite albums the rest fall in somewhere beneath these but my top 3...

 

1. Falling Into You/ Taking Chances

2. The Colour of My Love

3. A New Day Has Come/ Let's Talk About Love

Falling into You, no doubt. this is her only flawless album. i can listen to this album from top to bottom, without skipping any track. nuf said Taking Chances comes close at #2 and S'il Suffisait D'aimer at #3.

The Colour Of My Love

 

I chose this album simply because it was my first Celine album and brings back many memories. Even if there are songs I do not like (Miseld, Lovin' Proof etc) I believe, stylistically, it is Celine's most consistent album. It is not too sugary (like ANDHC) and Celine's vocals are like crystal on every single track. She sounds incredible. There are great tracks like The Power Of Love, Think Twice, Just Walk Away, Love Doesn't Ask Why and I Remember L.A.

 

I think the songs have an edge to them that you don't find post-1997. I was torn between D'eux and this album but I settled for this as it was where it all began for me. I think the two albums compliment each other very well.

 

Of course, it's pretty impossible to choose a favourite album or single song. The fact that Taking Chances and D'elles are not included on the list makes things a bit easier (I happen to think both these albums are great).

 

So, The Colour Of My Love is my current favourite. A very sexy, young look for Celine and material which is not quite as conventional or mainstream as later albums. I love the cover: she is chic, slender and graceful.

hmmm.. i think mine is taking chances. and also maybe andhc...oh, and falling into you because it was the one that really made me like céline. also ltal because my mom used to always play it. oooh, and d'elles (i know a lot won't agree! haha)
