After a momentum of 13 women's fragrances, Celine will finally set foot on the male fragrance market in June 2010 with the fragrance “Vegas Dice”. With this new fragrance Celine gives men the pleasure of exposing themselves.

 

The new fragrance from Celine Dion Parfums is masculine, intense yet light. A pleasant fragrance that tickles the senses in a pleasant way. Celine Dion: "It's my world in a bottle: colorful, charismatic, stylish and addictive. Just like Las Vegas feels."

 

Ingredients

 

The ingredients of Celine Dion Vegas Dice are a blend of lavender, patchoulie, tonka bean, stylet, sage, orange blossom, cedarwood, coriander, vanilla, sandalwood and musk. The whole is a pleasant, sexy, masculine, friendly and charismatic fragrance that impresses and lingers.

 

The bottle

 

The bottle is sturdy, structured, masculine and luxurious at the same time. The heavy glass construction with sparkling cap is elegant and a jewel in the bedroom or bathroom.

Perfume extract (Extrait): 15-40% (IFRA: typical 20%) aromatic compounds

Eau de Parfum (EdP), Parfum de Toilette (PdT): 10-20% (typical ~15%) aromatic compounds. Sometimes listed as "eau de perfume" or "millésime".

Eau de Toilette (EdT): 5-15% (typical ~10%) aromatic compounds

Eau de Cologne (EdC): Chypre citrus type perfumes with 3-8% (typical ~5%) aromatic compounds

Splash and After shave: 1-3% aromatic compounds

 

Men's fragrances are rarely sold as EdP or perfume extracts. As well, women's fragrances are rarely sold in EdC concentrations. Although this gender specific naming trend is common for assigning fragrance concentrations, it does not directly have anything to do with whether a fragrance was intended for men or women.

Well, though most of men's fragnances are indeed eau de toilette's there are eau de parfum's and even genuine perfumes for men also.

 

A fragnace receives a "qualification" depending on how concentration of aromatic compounds are used:

 

1) After Shave: 1 to 3% of aromatic compounds

2) Eau de Cologne (EdC): 3 to 5%

3) Eau de Toilette (EdT): 5 to 15%

4) Eau de Parfum (EdP): 10 to 20%

5) Parfum (extract): 15 to 40%

 

It is correct that most of the men fragnaces are indeed Eau de Toilette's and most women fragnances are indeed Eau de Parfum's

 

But it's possible to have a eau de parfum for a man while it's also possible to have a eau de toilette for a women
