I thought it'd be fun to learn about our fellow members style and likes when it comes to clothes, shoes, accessories etc. Which words would you choose to describe it? Is there a TV-character or a celeb whose style is similar to yours, or has one that you aspire to have?

 

I've gotten sooo many questions about my own closet, and I thought I'd proove once and for all that I'm not a diva, but a fashion/design studying girl on a budget.

 

 

 

 

• A few keywords to my style would be: tailored & classic

 

• A character/celeb whose style I love is: Bette Porter on The L Word:

 

• In my closet you can find: straight stretch blue jeans, tons of cotton tee's and tops, cotton & cashmere cardigans and sweaters, pencil skirts, tailored wool/silk pants, silk shirts, blouses and tops, brocade coats, cotton and wool blazers, A-skirt and jackets and god knows what else

 

• My favourite items come from: Chantelle for underwear, Hugo Boss for pants, SAND for sweaters, H&M for basic b&w tops, Zara Woman for a whole lot of things..

 

• Any 'guilty pleasures'?: I do love my Loubies and Jimmy Choo's, along with Efva Attling jewelry and Louis Vuitton. Sssccchh, don't show anyone the receipts

Ah, there are SO many. But my friend is getting married this summer and I kinda just want some hot shoes, so that the dress doesn't have to be that interesting. But yeah, I have a few I've been looking at that would work for a wedding. Don't even get me started on anything else! Just a few I've been lusting over today: these. these. these. & these.

I was JUST looking at those too! And I really need these in black and leopard. Ahh, I think I need to go and look for cheaper shoes, cause I will be in debt forever if I continue this.

Eeeeebay, ebay ebay Salla! The retail for my loubies are approx. $3000, but I probably paid $2000, brand new or as good as. The Choo's retailed for $595 + tax, got them for $400 + custom fees, so probably $520. There's a Vivienne Westwood Anglomania jacket in there that I got for £140 that retailed for £400. As long as you buy from the reputable and trustworthy sellers you can get some incredible gargains!

Nah, I don't. I think the people who know me are used to my sometimes wierd fashion sense. NOT quite yet on the Vivienne weird -level, though. I just like to spice my mostly black outfits with cute shoes and bags and other accessories. Although, lately I've been really boring with that as well.

Mine is so messy, I just figure as long as I can close the door and not see it, I might as well cram as much stuff in there as possible! I don't have any designer stuff though, I'm not into labels, I just buy whatever I like regardless of who made it. But to describe my clothes in one word it would have to be "pink." Just about everything is pink LOL.

I love this topic but after reading it i just said that what a neat closet girl...keep it up and i said what the heck with mine. its so messy..

im not into dresses and girly stuffs..so things you will find in my closet were jeans,shirts and jeans again and shirts again.

even though i love those people wearing dresses and cute tops and everything but im not used to wear those so im stick with the clothes i wore most...but im into label brands..most of my clothes were kamiseta,guess,lacoste..

and i love collecting bags..guess,coach,gucci,chanel,lacoste

and for the shoes and flip flops...lacoste,crocs,sketchers,havainas

I forgot the most important thing, SWEATPANTS! God's best invention for hanging around the house (Didn't figure that out until a year ago though, hah)

It was Mum's 50th birthday last August and her and Dad were in Vegas. He forced her into Christian Louboutin at the Venetian and she tried on these and loved them...then Dad went back and surprised her byu buying them. They are pink lizard skin and I think (swallow hard- we're not at all rich) that they cost £800 (they were $1600). When she (rarely) wears them- I mock her saying she has £400 on each foot. She cried when she got them because she never thought she'd own a pair- she is a bit self-conscious and thinks she isn't worth it. Of course, she is. And my sister and I clubbed together and bought her a pair of black leather court Louboutins from Selfridges in Manchester too for her birthday. So now she can't believe that she has two pairs.
