ImAliveUK Posted February 28, 2008 at 10:29 AM Posted February 28, 2008 at 10:29 AM Well, i knwo youre all itching to know and i have a few minutes to type this - it was an AMAZING concert!!!!! We arrived at abotu 3.30pm - as we heard the previous night was HELL regarding the traffic. We parked about 15 minutes walk away. When we got there we heard the sound check - the backing singers started with the backing only - no music to THINK TWICE, then went into the dance remix/interlude to MHWGO then did the whole of IM ALIVE without Celine. Then they did IDAN, WWRY, TSMGO, and not just once - a few times!!! it went on for ages!!! Celine then did TC - but not at her full capacity - she actually ad libbed the end - and it was amazing. The gates opened at abotu 5ish and we RAN to the front - over the bails of Hay!!! We got right at the front - about 10 ft away - i never thought i woudl get so close. We put out blankets down and went to get the picnic and wine - it was sooooo good. The weather was amazing and the peopel were great. I walked to the toilets and on the way back I saw two peopel dressed as the two characters from AND - they recognised me form the DVD so i had my pic taken with them PICS AND VIDEOS TO COME - Im still not home yet :-) The show started and i was BLOWN AWAY!!! the crowd went WILD and never sat down - she looked stunning and was on top form!!!!! I was sceptical as to how it would be after AND but it was brilliant. The new songs were great - TSMGO - was amazing with all the pictures and video of F.Mercury in the background. She did a great job of it! It all happened so quick and it was sad when it was all over. Anyway , that was a quick review and i will post the pics soon Kev Quote
