She's quite happy and joked a lot during the TV show recording. Maybe she's unhappy about the securities push back the fans, and don't want her to sign anything? I don't know. I heard she prepared to sign autographs.

I'm so happy for you, Bellamy, and Ramona for your moment at the show and I really really really hope for you (and for us, hehe) that we'll be able to see it in the broadcast!! You deserved it, both of you!! :wub:

 

I especially love the photos by powerpuffceline! Maybe she doesn't look happy on them (like Thomas said) but I guess one reason may be the stupid security (oh my, I know something like this would hurt me sooo much... being so close and than such nerds on the way...) or maybe it's because of the sun shining right into her eyes? I know I throw really stupid faces myself when I'm blended by the sun and I deffinitely don't look happy than, hehe...

 

Anyway, I love these photos by powerpuffceline, because Céline looks so natural, so vulnerable... And it's a pretty different look of her on these photos from what we see on all those official press photos! ;)

 

Thank you once again for all these stuff and I'm so happy for you to have enjoyed the taping!!! :D (who wouldn't have being in your shoes, hehe?! :wub:)

Wow, she was so beautiful!! And wow Bellamy, i'm SO happy for you, that's so great what Ramona told Rene!! Can't wait to see the performance of TPOTD, even if it's in playback, it's still one of my favorite song of Celine :) Thanks for the review!

She looks so pretty and elegant in those pix. I read from the Chinese forum that when she came out, the fans that were waiting outside, were singing TLYM "I'll be waiting for you, here inside my heart...", and Celine apparently was very touched by it. So I guess that's why we see that "unhappy" look in the pix above, it was her "touched reaction".

 

Not sure if this has been posted yet, it is a TV news report about Celine's comment on the Olympics. She was asked about the recent protest with the Olympic torch, and here's her response to that:

But...how does the Olympic event costing homes and lives of thousands of people? I do agree with Celine that this sporting event shouldn't be mixed up with politics.

A funny part in this article mentions that Celine says her son always complains about her singing, saying she doesn't sound good. Celine says Rene-Charles has a lot of his own idea/suggestion for her mom about singing, make-up, as well as audio system. And especially about love ballads, RC always tells Celine that it shouldn't be sung the way how Celine sings it.

There are many things that happen in this world beyond our full awareness and beyond our control. I don't think Celine should have been asked any questions regarding controversial and sensitive issues such as these, because it was not fitting for her to answer and it was outside of her reasonable comprehension - and it was really pushing her in the corner.

 

And Fred, we all know Celine would answer in the sweetest way possible, because that's her.

Based on what I read from the Chinese forum, during the show, they talked about Celine's 5 years residency in Vegas, and they showed the footages of Celine giving a show on the day her dad passed away. Celine was in tears watching that video, and she later performed the song "Alone" and dedicated that performance to her dad.
