For those that can't see it, is it actually better than her Ellen BYLM performance because that, to me, was one of the best overall performances of that song I can ever remember. Her voice was warm and perfect, and hit all the notes just right.

Loved it! Even if the band wasn't live, she really did a great job! She's so much better! As someone said, it's probally the best performance of TCH.

Excellent performance! I don't think Letterman or Leno are taping any shows due to the writers' strike. That's affecting even late night TV. Celine was probably scheduled to appear but I guess she'll have to wait until the strike is over!

I got a chance to see that performance of BYLM and I thought the Ellen performance was better slightly. I mean she's really singing that song as good or better than she ever has, and it's EXACTLY what I would have hoped for the DVD, but it sound like she lowers the key even more at A New Day for some reason. I love that she's singing it like the first time lately on TV! Overall though a fantastic performance!

Hm. I can't quite tell where you're going with that question, but if you're being serious then I'm not a vocal teacher; I've just heard too many performances from her to not notice every single subtle difference between them

 

I have watched Celine perform many, many, many times, over the past 10 years, and I don't come off as any authority on her singing. You on the other hand pick her songs apart. Mostly in negative way. I wish you could lighten up a little.

 

its you who should lighten up! noone's stopping you from worshiping all her performances

 

and btw...best performances of both songs so far
