And General Admission is usually when you have a show at an arena, and the floor is available. People can buy GA tickets, and stand on the floor in front of the band. The downside is that you have to stand the whole time, the upside is that you can get really close. But it's worth it.

I am going to wait another few days to see if they are gonna include India in the touring list (which I preume to be in the negative) If not, am getting tickets to one of the concerts in South Africa...I always wanted to visit that country cos from what I've seen, its really a beautiful country too

Dion Kicking Off 2008 Tour In South Africa

Celine Dion is to play her first-ever shows in South Africa to start her 2008 world tour. The vocalist will make her live debut in the country Feb. 14 with a corporate gala banquet at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg. This will be followed by two shows in the country's capital city, Pretoria, set for Feb. 16-17 at the Loftus Versveld Sports Stadium.

 

Dion will then move to the ABSA Stadium in the coastal city of Durban on Feb. 20 and will also play the EPRU Rugby Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Feb. 27. Shows are also scheduled for Feb. 23-24 at the Vergelegen Wine Estate in Somerset West.

 

Dates in Belgium, France and Switzerland follow as part of a world tour that will see Dion perform more than 100 shows. The artist's five-year residency in Las Vegas ends on Dec. 15.

 

In other Dion news, Columbia/Legacy will on Oct. 16 reissue the 1998 holiday album "These Are Special Times" with a bonus DVD of the artist's CBS television special from Thanksgiving of that year. The show featured duets with Rosie O'Donnell and Andrea Bocelli as well as performances of hits like "Power of Love" and "My Heart Will Go On."

DION TO OPEN WORLD TOUR WITH FIRST SOUTH AFRICAN DATES

 

CELINE DION will play her first South African concerts when she tours the world in 2008. The Canadian singer, who has spent the past three years performing nightly at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, will kickstart her upcoming world tour with a St. Valentine's Day (14Feb08) show at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg. The corporate gala concert will be followed by shows in Pretoria, Durban and Port Elizabeth, and Dion is also slated to perform at a winery in Somerset West, according to Billboard.com. The My Heart Will Go On singer's 100-date world tour will also take her to Belgium, France and Switzerland, with more dates to be confirmed. Dion's Las Vegas residency ends on 15 December (07).

After five years performing in Las Vegas, Celine Dion is heading for South Africa in February 2008 to kick off a global tour.

 

The world tour, which will see the Canadian born singer perform over 100 shows, kicks off at a corporate gala banquet on 14 February 2008 at the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg.

 

She plays five more shows across South Africa — including stops in Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth — before continuing her world tour and visiting countries such as Belgium, France and Switzerland.

 

The biggest selling female artist of all time in SA, she is being brought to the country by the Mr Price Group and KFM 94.5.

 

Tickets for these shows are available exclusively online at www.ticketconnection.co.za from Monday 23 July 2007.
