Kelly Clarkson's new album to have a dance funk sound

Check out some news about the Kelly Clarkson's new CD!

- The DJ who is working on the tour will colaborate in some songs;

- Kelly is writing a new material and working with different people;

- Kelly said that this CD will have a dance-funk sound;

- This is different from the other albums;

- Some new songs were listed at ASCAP, they are "Mrs. Right" and "Wish I Could Be Lonely";

- Kelly said at the pre-show of one of the concerts that she will put "Wish I Could Be Lonely" on the new album;

I've seen Kelly live in Cologne last year and it was one hell of a concert!!!! :wub:

I enjoyed it to bits, even though it started with a delay and I thought I'd freeze outside the venue waiting, lol...

In addiction to that, I recorded a very good quality bootleg of the full concert. I still haven't edited it but if there would be interest, I may post a download link here when I'm done with editing.

Also, I have to find the setlist for that concert first as I'm not sure about all the titles - I mean, I love Kelly and her music but I'm not that big fan to know all the song titles by heart, lol!...

Oh, where have you seen Kelly live during that tour? It was indeed awesome, I loved her bluesy covers, wow! :wub: And on her own songs she rocked big time! It was rather a small show in Cologne (the venue fits approx. 1500 people) but it was still awesome, she seems to have good connection to the audience and she's so natural and funny! :wub:

Her latest world tour was a big success! In some countries she did some smaller venues (like the show I went to - about 1500 people) but than in some other countries she filled big arenas.

At the moment there's quiet around her, she finished recording her next (fifth) album but just a few weeks ago released a statement that she won't be able to release it until September this year.

Apparently the her record company don't want any competition for her, they want to make sure that her album will be released when nothing else from an another major artist is being released so she'll get well noticed with her new material.

I'm pretty curious about the new album and hope it will be at least as good as her recent one! :clap:

I was really unlucky to have missed her (and Alicia Keys) when I was there :wall: As for her new album, I'm so very excited and just can't wait to have it :spaz: It's awesome how she keeps on updating her fans on her fb and twitter. She even had a cute pic of herself after she got root canal done :wub: Love her!

I don't know if you guys have heard this, but this one's an awesome duet between Kelly and Jason Aldean. I can so see her go a little countryish for her new album. It so suits her :wub:

Oh, I didn't know Kelly and Alicia went to India during their tours?! Alicia was in my area in Germany in May 2010 and I'm still freaking angry that I couldn't go to that show!!! :evil: I sooo love her "The Element Of Freedom" album! :wub: :wub:

As for Kelly, that's a very nice song in that video, I haven't heard it before! :clap:

Actually there may indeed be some country or countryish songs included on the her new album as she said it has some country influences (among others).

Personally I love her rockish side the most - songs like "My Life Would Suck Without You", "Since U Been Gone" or her ballads like "Because Of You", awww! :wub: :wub:

I was very surprised to hear her singing soul/blues at that show in Cologne and I must say it was a ver nice surprise! :clap: In such kind songs she can really showcase her wonderful voice! :clap:

wow! didn't know that cos i was really thinking that her music genre is not doing well these days.
