well i know people may not agree etc but i seem to think she has done an amazing job at covering TC, Alone and Right next to the right one.....i think thay are brilliant covers but if i had to pick on then itd be ALONE

i don't know if anybody here knows that the original version of It's Hard to Say Goodbye was done by Paul Anka & Regine Velasquez (yeah she don't need an introduction). they recorded the song way back 1993 and was included on her album Reason Enough. just a trivia.

I have never ever heard the "original" versions from "It's all coming back..." and "Taking chances", so I can't compare.

Drove all night, although the original from Roy Orbinson isn't to bad either... But there's a rather big difference between the 2 song and that's what I like about a cover... Alone, which is from the band Heart isn't changed to much and there I like the original a bit more since there's a bit more guitars in it.

All By Myself, easily. It's also my favorite song of hers ever. She always conveys a lot of emotion and power in her songs, but never before has she shown as much raw power and emotion as she did in All By Myself. You can literally feel it in her voice when she hits that huge note towards the end. Simply amazing.

Dhena, sistah.. The Orginal Melody Of "It's Hard To Say Goodbye" was done by Laura Branigan in 1986, and the song called "Foolish Lullaby"

We CAN'T say, Cece covered this song from Regine because (First) the melody was the sample from Laura's "Foolish Lullaby".. And Second, Celine did Paul Anka's Line and Not Regine's...

I would have to say best cover: All By Myself with River Deep Mountain High and Alone coming a close second. I also loved her stunning performance of Everything I Do (I Do It For You) with Bryan Adams. She should release it for herself!

oh wow i didn't know that! but the whole It's Hard to Say Goodbye "thing" was technically done by Paul Anka & Regine Velasquez (1993) while Celine's version was done in 1998.

I think her most popluar is All By Myself. SO many young female artists have tried that song since she recorded it.

 

My personal favorite is Nature Boy. Just a simple song - with Celine's simple vocal beauty. Haunting and perfect.
