Guys, don’t you think this is quite significant? In Universal Music’s official catalog, many of Céline’s songs appear… Could she be transferring all her music to Universal and making deals regarding the whole issue with the lawsuit involving her former agent over concert commissions?Why does it literally say on the website: “Welcome to UMPG Songs, where you can browse the Universal Music Publishing catalog.To stream full songs or request download access, register as a UMPG client and log in.”That indirectly means that this song is part of Universal’s catalog and not Sony’s. Don’t you think that’s quite significant and might explain all the delay? Maybe she released the Olympic Games version with Sony so as not to delay its release due to contractual issues?  And what if she was upset with Sony for believing that she was right regarding the commission lawsuit, and that’s why Sony has been so passive with Céline? Perhaps, to avoid legal issues, Céline’s team declined to comment on her future projects when asked during the makeup campaign?

Good riddance if that’s the case… but they just produced (Sony) Love Again movie and IACD recently , seems odd to jump ship now? Where’s scielle for any insight?

I don’t know about the store… but when it comes to the music, it’s not that strange.

There’s a difference between recording rights and publishing rights. Publishing deals with the composition. Songwriters may be represented by publishers from labels different from the recording one. These publishers often partner with others to handle distribution in different countries (the images you provided are from UMP Spain). So it doesn’t necessarily mean Celine is changing labels.

But the commission law suit had nothing to do with Sony, but with AEG and her touring deal

Yes, I know that, but it seems quite strange to me, because it’s quite a coincidence for something I haven’t encountered simply because I forgot. Right below, when you try to switch the tab to see more of the song list that Universal has, it shows that there are 85 more lists, but it doesn’t allow you to proceed. It’s as if it’s inactive. That’s quite suspicious. If those songs are already released, why is the tab inactive? They should have made them available a long time ago.

Yes, I know, but maybe she could have gotten upset with Sony and the staff for not informing her that they were charging her so much. In every album, in the booklet, she thanks Sony as 'Her friends at Sony.' To do that shows how much she values their work, so most likely she appreciated them a lot and was disappointed.

And what if when she renewed her contract with Sony, she had an agreement to release a movie and a soundtrack? The directors wanted Céline for the film, and since they were also part of Sony, they probably assumed she would be more flexible with the project. However, she initially declined. It may seem contradictory, but why would she do it if she wasn’t really comfortable with the movie? Perhaps she ended up liking it, or maybe she was informed that she had to do it because of the contract.

You can read Celine’s lips in the video and she says “I’m alright, thank you”  as she shows her fingers….. Hopefully she’s better than alright and we see her onstage soon.

Pretty sure Céline did her own hair, as she often does (like we saw in the documentary). I think Dee is simply her best friend at this point.

I’m surprised I don’t see her “manager” if we can call him that since all he does is attend concerts with her. Can’t be bothered to issue a statement or give the fans anything. But he’s usually with her at AEG concerts since he’s their VIP for the AEG Las Vegas.
