The lack of updates now is deafening, I think.

It’s so frustrating seeing literally every other singer and performer releasing music, announcing tours, making appearances etc and wondering what’s happening with Celine.

Before anyone says it, I fully appreciate she has a life changing illness but they must have an idea at this point how things are looking. They know if she’s improving or if she’s not. If she isn’t, update the fans so we can close the chapter. If she is, a quick video saying ‘I’m doing well and getting closer to resuming my career’.

If she’s nowhere near coming back and it looks like she won’t, I personally would rather know.

Haha. I cant wait to see her back. Will she ever comeback tho? Not just nights out. And not even concerts. Releasing an album, givivng interviews. Almost 10 years since the release of EUS and we heard nothing oficially about a new french album. That's crazy to me.

Couldn’t care less about another French album…

The last two English albums had next to nothing in regards to promo tours and tv appearances compared to her last two French albums… especially in Paris.

We all know that the residency was next on her list after Covid, so we need an update first on whether that’s happening or not and if not, then new music.

The new management appears to be way out of their depth in regards to managing the connection/relationship between Céline and her fans.
I get she’s dealing with this rare condition, but what’s being managed?

We have heard nothing now in over a year despite little teases here and there last summer that looked positive and a few little pop up appearances here and there from the Middle East, London & a concert recently.

But let’s be brutally honest here… we got more video updates from her about not yet being able to come back during 2021-2022 than what we have had in the last 12 months. So why radio silence now?

Rene read the room and understood the importance to keep the book open…

I get it things can change but they surely must have a plan at this stage for something.

Update us either way… the letter on “WhatsApp” ain’t gonna cut it I’m afraid.

And yes I’m extremely angry and disappointed at this stage, and I think most diehards are and deserve to be!

Didn't you recently had contact with Feeling or her management that you said a few days ago?

At the end of the day money talks is there no money to be made , based on streaming sales? Releases ? Etc? Is that why Sony doesn’t give a s*** ? You got Barbara Streisand who’s 84 putting out records that are selling abysmal numbers and her streaming sucks.  Celine proved she can have a respectable  streaming number on remixes like set my heart on fire . So what’s the hold up. She could be in a wheel chair and her team could still do something.  Amazon must  of gave her good coin to get her #ss doing interviews and promo is all I can say

It's just so fascinating Celine's relationship with the fans. She cares so much, but I feel she's almost too afraid of disappointing and hearing direct, honest feedback from fans. So there's a distance.

I remember some '90s interview I think where she said she doesn't want to hear reviews or feedback after a show -- because she doesn't want to know. She's her own biggest critic, and she wants to know nothing more than that she gave all she can out there on stage.

It’s very understandable that she doesn’t listen to people’s criticism after concerts. She already demands so much from herself in every performance, every album... this has been said by people who have worked with her in the studio. This time, a university professor and a brilliant student from the degree she was studying went with Céline to record a version of the song “Hymne A L’Amour” (which she sang at the Paris Olympics). I think the version she sang in Paris was live, but maybe she wanted to have playback just in case. Also, in the video where she is seen rehearsing in Paris, you can see she has vocal support, maybe that’s what the professor and his student recorded. I know this because in my country there was a news story related to that, but it was very little spread and now I can’t find it. Maybe she doesn’t give us what we want because she doesn’t listen to criticism. We already know Céline is someone who doesn’t like technology very much, so I doubt she reads us. Before, the one who was aware of what we said or didn’t say was René, but unfortunately, he left. According to what I’ve read, René kept track of everything said about her, all the news... etc.

Well, Bárbara can’t be doing that badly, from what I’ve seen — on my Spotify it says she has five million monthly listeners. What’s clear is that Sony Music doesn’t have the mindset of a fan, but rather the mindset of a company that needs to make money, which is only logical.

What the frig is up with residents cancelling opening weekend ? First Adele and now Kelly.  I get you can’t control health but OPENING WEEKEND? .  Jeeze these divas  should laying low and taking extreme caution for the friggin premiere.  I’d be so pissed.

I live the actual Céline's career like the case of a missing person : as time goes by, the odds to see her again decrease ...

On the other side, her management has become so fascinating. There is this common phrase that says that those who are able to produce the best can produce the worst as well.

This is exactly what Celine's team is offering. Up to now, Céline's career hasn't been replicated ( the story of this french speaking little girl coquering the world) and her career was built thanks to a stellar management.
Now, we have been living with the worst management the music industry has witnessed in this social media era...

I hope one day there will be books - just like the theorising Céline's career - explaining this downfall.

I could be completely wrong here… but Céline has proven to be a creature of habit in so many aspects over the years.

So, is she waiting for the one year anniversary of her Paris return to come around or pass, before announcing something/anything?

At this point I’m holding onto this idea, as at this point this is all I have to hold onto… as desperate and depressing as it sounds, but this is where we are at!

I was reading about it earlier and the article I read mentioned END of 2026. I know some people have floated the idea that she could be waiting until 2026 to make a comeback to avoid paying the guy the money. If it’s end of 2026, or early 2027, I don’t know how much I believe that now. If that’s the case, it’s 2.5yrs after the Olympics. Just seems a very long time given her condition.

I don't think her comeback is a matter of money. If I read properly this thing with Rob Prinz has been judged already and Celine production was condemned to pay about 15 M Dollars.

Only two options for Celine Silence : either she is not able to comeback at a high level due to her illness and if so, it is better she stops ( please no more songs like the ones of "Love again" film) or she does not want to come back. I recently heard interviews from Garou, Michel Drucker and Robert Charlebois. They all said no news from Celine or just from her press officer. Celine seems to live in a her bubble.

I think if performances (future ) in whatever capacity — were not on the table we’d know.  She said she will come back to to the stage- at what point we don’t know.  All she has confirmed -   Is she’s working hard and we’ve heard from  Las Vegas review Journal  she’s doing great.   She never gave a date and we may never know why.  But I truly do believe somthings in the works — just not what even the best of us may be expecting time wise

That was settled long ago and at this point is a non-issue.

I can't imagine not enjoying the beauty for her French work. Even before I spoke French I loved the feel. Anglophones are an odd lot in that they think the world revolves around people doing things to make their pleasure or lives easier.
