Very different circumstances though, sadly Whitney destroyed her voice, Celine has a major medical condition which has affected it having looked after it so carefully for so long. And yes I know addiction is also a major medical condition, but the public would have a lot more empathy for Celine if her voice did go wrong during a show.

It depends. I mean most people wouldn’t want to pay to hear bad vocals. That’s why they’re leaving. They went because they know her story and her addiction problem and peole wanted to hear her sing again but bad vocals and people didn’t like it.

With Celine, I have a feeling that she can still sing. That Recording of “Love Again” is because of not singing for 2 years. It’s like first day of concert her voice is always not that great at first day since courage tour but halfway of the tour it went smooth. She just needs to sing again. Wake up her vocal cords but she is in process on doing that. Rehabilitation - finding her new voice.

We should wait for the real concert not the events.

She was scheduled to appear as it was the Bruins 100th Centennial Game 12/1/1924-12/1/2024 and of course against Montreal. It’s a classic hockey rivalry for those not in the know, but not so much in the later years. I don’t know what led to her not attending or if the appearance not being made public, but she was expected to have been there for the special occasion.

So as much as it would not bother us hard core & long time fans about the lipping, we got to remember all of the general public & journalists who also do attend her concerts & everybody pretty much has electronic devices on them, & pretty much everybody has access to YouTube & social media... All it takes is one f*ck up at one of her shows, that's it game over!! & we all know Celine & her team would never want to take that risk & ruin her career & legacy, Celine is much smarter than anybody gives her credit for!!
