I think it was just one of those “auto-generated” videos provided by the record company, but it is nice that it’s out there! And okay, this one isn’t bad! TBH, it had been a while since I listened to them all. I bought the CD single about ten years ago and just never really listened again 😅

This is my favorite! Brings back memories.
Spending the evening on the PC, playing this on the media player with those visualizers. All I can think of with this song are the sheeps jumping over the fence.

Absolutely fenomenal! Unbelievable how many performances we got from Celine. Her 2002 voice was also fantastic. I might even choose her CBS special performance as the best performance of MHWGO.  

Even when Celine did bad, it still sounded good somehow. In Osaka during LTAL, she went flat yet it still sounds pleasant to my ears. And her 9/11 "there's nothing I fear" note is probably my favorite, even if it's not technically correct. Forever This Way was painful to hear though, I wonder what happened there. Was Celine sick during that Larry King performance?

Also, was Rosie O'Donnell the first performance of MHWGO? I think I read somewhere on the forum it was the one for Australia in which Celine wears that brown suit from the FIY tour, but can't remember for sure.

MHWGO was always inconsistent in 2002.  Letterman, Oprah, and Wango Tango sounded good but the big notes were iffy.

Then we have the ANDHC special and the Worlds Kids Day where its sung perfectly. Although those are both professional recordings and I dont know if I trust them as well as the live performances.

The performances in TV shows like Letterman, Oprah, the vocals were always not that great where as when she’s singing in big venues like in ANDHC, World’s Children’s Day her voice is great. And I do believe she doesn’t dubbed as much as Mariah Carey. With Celine, what we hear in live it will be the same in the DVD that only changes in 2010.

Celine = In Person and in DVD= Same but enhanced.

Oh yeah I wasnt infering it was dubbed in those recordings but just like you say enhanced for DVD/release. I actually enjoy the live performances on say Oprah or Rosie more because it being more raw.

I’m not a fan of raw because the voice is too forward like the setting is meant for speaking like it’s making harder for the singer to sing where if there’s reverb it makes everything easy, smooth and resonant. But that’s for me. It’s great that some still enjoy the raw vocals in live performances in proshot

I love how they are running so far with this “impromptu performance of MHWGO… can we call it a “performance” she singing half a line and I can’t even tell how her voice is because she’s playing more than singing, it shows how hungry the media is for anything Celine related.

She seem to really try making them close to the studio version. I think live should always sound different from studio otherwise it gets boring but in a case like this having a live performance sounding close to studio version is a good thing. I often go back and listen to these old performances because they sounded so good and even if recent years performances has been good the old ones is a step above.

Is the MHWGO used in the movie pitched up? I listened to it and can't believe how "fake" it sounds - as if Celine is some kind of a doll... the single version has her normal voice tone.

I don't know it it's pitched up, but I do remember Céline telling that she had a cup of coffee before recording the demo (which is used in the movie), that caused her vibrato to be higher. Maybe that's is?

Not all are pitched up because one of my copy of Titanic (in VHS) are in normal voice tone. Then, tried to download a digital copy from a torrent before so I can watch it on iPod Video/Touch (no iTunes Store for movies yet back then in my country only songs), the copy were pitched up lol

I watched it on IMAX last year and the voice are in normal pitch

no... the same vocals for both... the vibrato is really fast because she had a coffe before recording... but it's not pitched up
actually the album version is the edited vocals, the soundtrack is raw

but it also depends from where are you hearing... an official release?

I remember reading that too! But I always understood it in a way that her vibrato was faster, whereas her whole voice is different at the end of the movie. It sounds the same as in some live videos uploaded by some fans to YouTube where they pitch Celine voice and claim she sang in the original key, if you know what I mean... it always sounds unnatural and as if Celine was an underage girl... doll-like sound

Maybe it's really because of pirated versions
I noticed many shorts that include the movie version on YouTube also use this high-pitched version
