I wish they would have uploaded the HD/4K video on her YT channel sooner. The video has 16 Mio views now. Whitney's IWALY video has 1,5 Mrd views.  ��

Surprised to see folks listen to it every day. But if it helps with dealing with daily nuisances, then go for it! I’m sure Celine would be very touched!

I for one cannot stand it lol. But I was weirdly kinda drawn into it when I realized that they used the live arrangements on the Un peu de nous Karaoke disc. It sounds so much more iconic than the album version

Yes, it's a shame. There are so many videos of hers that should have tens or hundreds of millions more views.

I don't listen to it every day but every time I hear I always find myself liking the song like it's almost the first time hearing it.
I don't think I will ever get tired of this song.

MHWGO is actually my favorite song of all time, and I actually prefer the soundtrack version. For me, it’s not necessarily a love song, but a song about proceeding in life even when you feel like there’s nothing left. An anthem of survival. I love the melody of the song, even instrumentals are beautiful, the way that the song grows in intensity. In a way, I imagine Celine singing the song as maybe a little unsure that her heart will go on at first, but she grows in conviction as the song continues. In my head, the music video I imagine is one of her singing the song from the balcony of a lighthouse as a storm rolls in and she sings while trying to weather the storm. The soundtrack version has a nice outro, where as I feel the storm has cleared and there is still optimism and hope for the future. That is my take anyway.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! MHWGO is my favorite song of all time as well, it's so much more than just "the Titanic song"! Yes, it was written about the tragedy and for the movie, and in my opinion is the best movie song in history, but... like you said, it's more than that, it can be a song about hope, survival, eternal love, and about making through life's storms, and carrying on.  Personally, I love both the radio version used on LTAL, and for the single and music video, and the soundtrack version.
The original music video is also my favorite music video of all time (prob. watched over 500 times lol), but I really love the new 25th Anniversary alternative music video released last year too!

You’re welcome! I agree! It can be applied to many things and I also love the LTAL version, but prefer the soundtrack version more. I remember being surprised to hear an alternate version on her album. I found out while I was in high school and quickly needed that version in my life too, lol. The 25th anniversary edition video came out the day after my birthday, so that was a nice little treat last year. I do wish we also had a 4K video of the original video too though!

I'm still baffled that it took 15 years to her team to release a "proper" music video on her channel.


We are not talking about an unknown song...they missed hundred of millions of views that could have been translated into sales.


I don't know what the problem was but this mistake was equal to the success of the song...
