Definitely not a cameo, they wouldn’t list her as a actor if that was the case. She will most likely be a supporting actress to Sam and Pryianka who will be the lead roles.

This US version is an adaptation so I'm sure there will be changes. The fact Celine is listed as one of the stars might mean that the original character from the german film/novel has been given a bit of a bigger role (hopefully). I don't think she's playing herself but a fictional singer, perhaps has her own story of loss just like the 2 main leads.

Whatever the extent of the role is it's a start and I'm very excited.

I understand this as the music by the singer that Celine plays in the movie will inspire the love story, not real Celine music. But who knows...

I hope this leads to more gigs for celine. It will be interesting if her role will be serious or comedy. I hope it’s a serious role so she can be taken seriously.

Is it only me who worries about her delivery?  Maybe because she hasn’t done much serious acting before. Although I have faith in her that she will do an incredible job.

Filming hasn't started. They don't even have the full cast. Celine and the other two are the main and first ones confirmed.

I liked her mini acting in that Celinenununu video. I know it was small, but still.  And her pronunciation was on point.

Since Celinununu were mentioned and there was a little acting. Let’s watch it again :)



Even her facial expressions were on point at the end. I’m not worried with her acting for the upcoming movie

The chances are bigger that she will just appear for 2 minutes and than bye bye, than she will have a leading role.
