It was so cool to see Celine perform again! And to witness her in red carpet mode again after so long. She looked incredible and reminded us of her superstar stage presence.

I read somewhere that the appearance was in the works and top secret for 6 months. Interesting that she chose Saudi Arabia, surely they paid her a gigantic sum of money -- I wonder if there's anywhere she wouldn't go if the check was large enough. From a purely financial point of view, that makes a lot of sense for her since presumably she's not receiving a regular stream of income these days besides whatever royalties she gets from her music.

This show was supposed to be in Elie Saabs home country of Lebanon and It was made impossible due to the bombings of Israel. I think she agreed to do it in Beirut Lebanon and was moved for safety reasons later on.

That would make sense. I assumed that Elie Saab had deep longstanding ties to Saudi Arabia already (and perhaps offices / a home residence there), but to be honest I didn't research that.

Also, fans will remember that Rene was of Lebanese and Syrian descent. Lebanese on his mother's side.

Wutt, one way?... google says commercial flights NV to Dubai range from 16.5 hrs to 19.5 hrs... Plus they most likely flew private.. 32 hours one-way is crazy ...

Very random, but watching the new JonBenet doc on Netflix, and Celine appears on the corner of one of the tabloids around that time. Not really a joyous discovery as the subject matter/case is such a sad one, but just an unexpected appearance of Celine.

At this point I think just as reliable as the one telling she brings out 2 albums, doing a movie, a duet with Adele, a residency in Vegas and in france.

I think the real thing is somewhere in between all of this.

I've read yesterday on RTL ( which is normally a station that does not spread too many rumors, saying that from these rumors nothing is real. And that At this time Céline does not record any song and is not about to do so) Maybe her venue to Monaco annual charity event sounds to be the most valuable.

Personnel I don't think a duet with Adele would bring anything interesting to music history

Was at a Nashville Predators game today and there was a group called “Celine Dion Fans” that received a shout out. Then during one of the shots of the crowd, there were all these guys wearing Celine Dion shirts jumping around. Proud moment! 😅

I love Celine, but never once expected her to make this list. Even Mariah didn’t make the list and she had more chart success this century.

Alex Bodi, I don’t know why you need a proof from Wings of Pegasus of her performances of Seduces Me back in 2006. The fact that in the duration of her residency show from 2003-2007, She performed it LIVE all and the remaining year was lipped. Because it’s very obvious.  

Who are you trying to prove someone as you have said MANY are they Celine fans or just regular PEEPS? I don’t know what’s the real intention behind this…

And Wings of Pegasus should realize that all of his recent analysis of Celine’s performances are just EVENTS. And as a music producers he should know that most are done in lipsync.

And he makes more Celine videos now since his YouTube account boomed from Celine’s Olympic performance. The fact that all of his commenters have no pic is like an alternate account/karen account
