As expected - lots of Celine out there in the professional figure skating world, now that music with lyrics is allowed in competition.
Here's another new one this season - US skater Mariah Bell at Skate Canada International, which this year happens to be held in... Laval! Girl knows how to play to the local crowd!
Skating her short program to To Love You More, choreographed by Adam Rippon.

I have been in search of this interview for so so so long now and can’t find anything more than these tiny little thumbnail photos.  I remember being glued to the TV when this originally aired.  I was actually a big fan of this talk show at the age of 15!  Lol. I would love to be able to find this Celine interview to watch again.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think so.
Her vocal warm-ups alone imply that. I've seen several singers on YouTube react to some of her videos where she's shown warming up and they are always surprised/impressed by her technique.

I would assume that if two separate people qualified to teach opera taught Celine how to sing, then doesn't that make her classically trained?

If anyone knows more about this I would really appreciate it. I find it fascinating that Celine was first taught by a woman who taught opera for more then half a century and then Celine was also further trained by Pavarotti's vocal coach in the 90's.

Celine has mentioned before that Doctors have been puzzled over her voice and they've told her that she shouldn't be able to reach those notes she hits, because her vocal cords don't appear to look different then anyone else's vocal cords. I guess singers with a high vocal ranges have different looking vocal cords than other singers?

If Celine was classically trained, that would have made all the difference in how she is able to sing the way she does, especially from such an early age. Celine was first trained by a woman who taught opera in 1982, so that would have made Celine only 14 at the time. Wow.

Saw Bohemian Rhapsody movie last night, thought it was fantastic.  Rami Malek does a fantastic job playing Freddie.  Cried numerous times throughout and especially upon hearing Love Of My Life as this song always takes me back to seeing Celine live last year.  Can’t wait to go back and see it again!!

Wouldn't it be great if we got a round-table discussion with the world's greatest vocalists talking about how their voices change over the years? No one really talks about this, because it's such a sensitive subject. Only people who have been given such a gift can relate, and I imagine it can also feel like an immense burden. It seemed to plague people like Whitney Houston and Karen Carpenter. And Julie Andrews' circumstances were certainly devastating.

It could be a candid discussion with legends like Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Andrea Bocelli, Gladys Knight, Sarah Brightman, Cher, Patti LaBelle, Mariah Carey, Idina Menzel, etc. etc. etc.

I remember when Celine was at her weakest vocally during A NEW DAY, she talked about she just had to embrace that she was offering more than just a live vocal -- she was offering audiences a full experience. (This was in the A&E bio.) Thank goodness she came back so STRONG in 2011.

Tonight I was at a concert where a Swedish soul/pop diva celebrated the 25th anniversay of her most popular album. The track list was the setlist before the break (after the break she did some best of tracks). It was a true treat to the fans who got the chance to sing along in many songs. We got stories from.the recording sessions and memories from her life at that time.

Imagine if Céline celebrated one of her albums like this! Which one would you want it to be?
