It's probably all the sales, downloads, streams she got from (from the beginning) for all her discography (music, video) in Indonesia..
Not that they've probably had all the info from the early years, but who knows lol

Here how I see things : end of 2018, new album, end of 2019 ( 20 years after ATW), <title with "way"... another 2 decades of songs>.
I still have to work on the tracklist haha but would definitely include "Happy Xmas" which has gone viral the last few years and that would be at last the occasion to release it as a single with a MV and promo on TV as it's out in december.

But I think this is too sophisticated for Team Céline.

Why was Ashes not included? It would make it more attractive for me to buy it, but I don’t see a reason to purchase the same songs that I have on several CDs already. They could have included an extra disc with The show must go on in the live Bethoveen version and Recovering etc. and call it fan or deluxe edition

I'm guessing they just want to have this song included in the new album for the first time rather than in a compilation that precedes its release. Maybe to give people more incentives to buy the new CD, 'cos in their heads the sales of the new album matter more than the "Best so far" type of collections. Since Ashes has been well received so far by the public, feels like they wanna treat it in a more special way and also have the opportunity to include it in the next compilation album

Ashes has been well received by the public because there's anything new from Céline in English since 5 damn years ago, and at this point the public is going to receive well almost anything she releases.

I do like Ashes, but it's not something to go crazy, honestly! And the song being linked to a popular movie and the videoclip released just at the same time made the rest

Well by saying "Ashes has been well received by the public" i meant the general public/population that isn't really a Celine fan nor cares about her songs. I doubt all these people have any clue about when was her last english album released, or waiting for a new one. They are stuck with MHWGO (just like she is ). Aaaanyway, i do agree with you that the song isn't something crazy and mind-blowing. It is however a really catchy song, the melody locks in your brain, the lyrics really suit her and with her voice and talent she managed to turn an "easy" song to a succesful and unique power ballad. Plus, the fact that it was linked to the movie introduced her to a new audience, so now the logical company's goal would be to make this new audience buy the new CD so they can have Ashes. The fans will buy anything she releases anyway, but how to attract more, that's the real issue.

They want to hear ANDHC translated into Spanish and sung whilst shes standing ontop of her head in the middle of hyde park.... seriously what do we know.


Also.... why did people actually think that she would ever keep RTD/LIAWN instead of LCMM/RDMH. Hate the songs all you want, but they REALLY get crowds going.

When my friend Laura attended in leeds and glasgow, they werent really sure at all about RTD/LIAWN and many people just went to the bathroom/ get drinks during this part and most also just sat around looking at each other.

However the minute she started BOW/LCMM/RDMH, they went berserk and were loving it.

Dear, WE ARE ALL HERE projecting our own wishes to what we want to hear and what WE "think" the public would love to hear!!! 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year! Since decades ago right? This is a forum where we share wishes, expectations and hopes about Celine's career. That's basically what we ALL do here most of the time and post we do write here!!! Welcome aboard!!!

But probably you're too naive to realise about that, and also probably a bit silly to write such post in that personal tone (as it's usually your way to address other fans here btw), because I've never said an ounce of what you're saying (not even any of those songs you mentioned are my favourites lol )

1) Suffice to say that I've never said she needs to stop singing her hits in her shows, but she COULD include more of her own songs and songs she has never performed before that are as good as the hits or even better, and give them a chance, which is a far different point than the stupidity you wrote about me

2) 99,99% of fans in this forum are 24/7 saying how much we'd love her to sing our individual favourite songs/rare songs/non hits every time she's about to do a new tour, and there are even specific threads with polls and "wants setlist" created precisely on that purpose. Have you been living under a rock before this tour, and last summer tour, and the tour in 2016, and so on? The forum is inundated (literally) with the setlists each fan wants to have. From the opening song #1 to the closing song to even the interludes and where they have to be placed. Is that a problem for you, or you have a problem with reading and mockery? (Well, ironically I must be one of the few fans here who hasn't submitted any of those personal setlists because I don't think for a second it has any use lol)

Soooo you can save your mockery dear. You are also dying to hear a Celine Dion show full of songs she has never/rarely performed in her career, but you're just too naive to admit it

Oh, and an exclusive ANDHC show only with ANDHC songs? Why not? I've never wished for that but now that you mention... Should I be ashamed to say what my favourite albums and songs are?

Had she perfomed Sorry For Love or Right In Front Of You or Reveal or Naked instead of the umpteenth cover just done to please an audience with performing one of their local hits, would have made any difference? Probably not, considering the unimpressed reaction from the audience who were sitting still on their seats , but at least it would have given a chance to one of her own songs to be performed live at least once and see how it works.

I'm not saving my enthusiasm for you and my love for the things I love, even if it bothers you and you only focus on the criticism and negative posts and NEVER acknowledge the positive and supporting ones! Pity!

And hell yes, let the woman do what she wants, if she wants to close with two covers, let it be! What can we do right for people like you??

Some are very easy to please with anything Celine does, others just know there's always room for improvement. I'd rather believe they can always do better and deliver something different than giving up to the comfort zone she's in
