I have faith in him. He's young and hip. He totally understands what this gala is about. I feel like what she wore to The Felix Awards was quite Met Gala-esque. I trust Law for this event.

Just for the outfit!
Can't wait to see what they will create together!
All the positive press on her looks lately gets me exited for this one!
Hope they will be creative with her hair as well!

She needs to do something epic, the dress she wore at the Felix Awards, was perfect and has the look of the Met Gala.

PS I'm glad Donatella wasn't too insulted by Celine using her gifted tote as a diaper bag (3B&aNS)....

And many try to bring attention to themselves by wearing outrageous dresses/clothes

Every year the Met Gala has a theme and designers are encouraged to create a look that goes with that theme, some succeed and some fail at that but celebrities are usually the ones who get blamed for that.
Which brings me to my next point, designers are assigned to certain celebrities which means Law won't be dressing Celine, there is a possibility he can dictate the hairstyle, makeup etc, but he's not picking the dress. These fashion designers not only do collections, dress celebs for red carpets, but for this event they're assigned multiple celebrities to dress so I don't think there is a closet full of themed costumes for that year that Law will pick from for Celine to wear, ultimately the one who is dressing her will be the one she's assigned to which means if it doesn't look good, the outlets will be looking at the designer, but they'll mostly be looking at the celebrity as the person who screwed up.
Now I could be wrong and a celeb's personal stylist has some say or rather sway, maybe designers do create multiple looks for their clients b/c they can hire the workers for it, maybe the designs are something collaborated on with that celebrity, we don't know the detail or at least I haven't found information that specify that part.

Thank you for that. I had no clue that the celebrities were assigned a designer to dress them. How unfair is it that they are blamed in the end if the look isn't good. I hope the celebrities have some say in it. I mean they must be able to say no to some looks.
But thank you for that information. I'm looking forward to what they will do for Céline. Crossing my fingers she will look fab!
