It's quite an interesting choice from the host country.

That one was definitely the best choice out of a very weak final in Latvia.

The good thing is that Francesco promised to keep his song all in Italian.

I would love for Italy to win it all ... then I can finally go back to Italy ...
However, there are still many songs to be released before the finals ... so there is a chance that everything changes ...
Btw Spain's song from Manel is in the Top 5 as one of the Top viewed videos of February - which of course has Italy at #1

I used to hope that this song, Paper with Svala would win http://www.ruv.is/lag/paper
Svala has been performing since she was a kid here in Iceland. I do like 1 or 2 of her songs but in general her voice annoys me.
But I kinda got sick of her voice.
Now I hope this one will win Tonight with Aron Hannes. I saw him at my local mall yesterday and he did a good job. http://www.ruv.is/lag/tonight-0
Over all for the Icelandic Eurovision, I'm not a huge fan of any of the songs.

Those sisters have great voices that compliment one another really well.
Well done, the Netherlands.

Besides, it's much better than the likes of Croatia, Slovenia, Malta, Switzerland and many others (too many, to be honest).
I think it's way too early to predict this song's chances of qualifying to the final. Anything can happen.

Greek song is cheap as hell with really cheesy lyrics.
Australian one is quite nice actually, that guy has beautiful voice. It's one of the better ballads this year.

Yeah, I know what you mean ... I do like the Greek song (cheese-and-all) and while I do like the Australian song, I expected something more after last years' song ...
Malta is sending a Duo (not sure when they will present the song) and Macedonia will be presenting their song on Friday ... there is still plenty of songs to come out and make this happen!!!!!
