Agree! Not in vain Céline has always described herself more as a "performer" or simply a "singer" rather than an "artist" ^_^

But if she keeps at this pace, she will be a completely developed artist in no time, like you say :yes:

Folks, she's not a pianist.

Barbra Streisand in 2006 played the piano for the first part of the very first song she wrote called Ma première chanson  and then the orchestra took over. It was a funny/cool moment.

I completely agree with everything you said about what your idea of an artist is. And I would have said the same thing for anyone else but Celine lol! I seem to have a very weak spot for her for some reason :D I really do think she is an artist because she does take every song she sings to a whole new level. And it's not just her voice...it's the interpretation of it. And let's not forget that she was the one who first got the idea to create a singing show just like "O" :) So she might not yet be the one who actually creates things but I think many many of the things we've seen her do all these years started from her own ideas. BUT, this is just my own opinion and we are all free to have our own views!!!

That being said, I DO agree that I'd like to see her take the reins on more aspects of her career and I think that this is exactly what she is slowly beginning to do which I am enjoying immensely. So let's hope to see her blossom into a fully-blown artist that also writes her own material!!

It's 4pm in LA right now. The show starts at 8pm so it's another 4 hours for us poor Europeans :D

Although the show will be broadcasted live on SUC's YT channel, I'm not sure if it's going to be available to watch after it's over.

Would a kind soul please record this and share with us? I would be mostly grateful!!

It actually broadcasts at 5 pm LA time, 8pm EST. so one hour! :)
