I swear if anyone complains about that playback, you're not right in the head,
This moment could have just been her biggest moment in her English career.

Okay, you all ready for this coming from the anti-covers guy on here?
"The Show Must Go On" is now the one and only cover I not only agree with, but actually WANT to stay in her shows. Plus, the curtain drop proves "I Surrender" needs to move to the side for this song as the opener in her Vegas show. I just...WOW!

Someone says here that he/she'll be going to watch live at BMA today. I hope she recorded it live. So we have a fancam and a pro shot

Yes!!! Remember we were all talking about TSMGO as opener and said they could do the curtain drop in the exact place they did it? I guess they do listen to us!!!! Ughhhhh I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. I'm beaming with pride.

She was stunning in all ways tonight, all those other girls can go home! Who thought Madonna is going to steal her thunder? No one could ever. She just threw her heart and soul at us, I may never get over this moment! Bravo Celine! Loved the dress makeup and hair too.

It's funny how nobody can accept that Celine Dion...Goddess...living legend...icon...best singer in the world can REALLY sing like that. Y'all have to conclude lipping. Wow.

Man, her speech got me the most. Every bit of that performance was for Rene.

Céline was just amazing!
And RC showing up was the cherry on the cake!
The only question is... why didn't they release the Beethoven version if she was going to perform it?
Unless they changed their mind after our bitching..

Listen all you little Mary come latelys who NEVER post on this forum until something is actually going on...She was not lip syncing. That performance was live Live LIVE LIVING!! Watch those muscles in her throat STRETCHING as she was BELTING those notes. It was INF*CKINGCREDIBLE!!! EASILY her most defining moment in her Anglophone career. She not only commanded that stage, she OWNED that entire room. Take your half empty glasses, and have SEVERAL seats. This woman just vocally slayed the entire world.

Except she didn't hide behind the mic at all or do her stupid lip quiver. She put herself fully out there.

I wonder who came up with the idea and how it was orchestrated for R.C. to be the one to present the Icon Award to Celine. If that was Aldo, I think we are in store for some great things to come with him in charge. Plus, can we all finally lay to rest why Mego is gone and Scott Price is in? I think today proved that change in her career was one of the best things to ever happen. At least in my opinion.
