She told a joke about Rene betting on her at  Eurovision, and joking that she was like a horse.  

She told the same story about All by Myself and MWHGO that is always told (if you can't hit the note, Whitney can, etc)

Jean Jacques Goldman said that she doesn't lose sight of what is important in life.

And then it closed by saying she takes a helicopter to work each night and is home by 9PM to be with her kids every night. Both statements were odd to me, but I didn't write the article and what do I know anyway about what she actually does on average vs what is said

the story about the helicopter is hard to believe, maybe because René is ill and she doesn't want to lose a minute, but it would be a big surprise....

but it would not be the first time in her life that she says a thing and and do or think something else, that's why she repeats the same , not to fool herself .

That is when she leaves. She may drive back. Anyway, who knows. It could vary by day depending on the schedule or the helicopter thing could have been written and intended as a joke.  Even the painting and Renoir comment had a deeper meaning, I believe, but I do not think I could translate the sentiment well so I just did that verbatim because even verbatim I think it was a lovely statement.

Remember I read it needing to translate things, and it is not impossible I missed the joke or that like quebecflower said she may say one thing about how she gets there, but may be doing something else (perish the thought )

The only thing that makes me feel okay about my recap  and understanding is that quebecflower likes my post

i like the painting quote myself... it has surely a deeper meaning ...The fact that she uses a french impressionist, where's what you see is not exactly what it is, .i believe that something we use expressions when we talk that have a deeper meaning that we tought , our subconscious is showing sometimes.
